Alien 3 is a really weird case because I think it's mostly a bad movie, but there are some decent elements, it's got a good cast for starters, I can appreciate the grimy feel of it, it's an interesting contrast from the sleeker sci fi of the first two movies.

But while there are aspects I like I still choose to ignore it and like Terminator pretend the series ended with the second movie, the aliens were all blown up, where did they come from? Well, it's a big universe, who says we'll ever know? And Ripley, Newt and Hicks lived together happily ever after, end of story.


Anyway, I watched Dave Cullen's review of Dark Fate link and he talks about the "anti-natalist" themes of the movie, just the overall third wave feminist garbage.

I find it really disturbing how despicable, how really genuinely evil the morals Hollywood is presenting these days are, this kind of garbage is what's really being promoted by big Hollywood blockbusters? That it's wrong or doesn't matter if women have children? That to be "feminist" means turning women into men and vilifying anything that's actually feminine? Think of how twisted and bizarre that mentality is and yet it's being promoted by mass media?

It's like imagine if every movie started promoting Scientologist ideals, that's basically what's going on, feminism is an evil cult that is hijacking our culture.




I've always been fascinated by that transitional period from the 80s the 90s, it's such a cool era.

So The movie antagonizing the beauty of birth and motherhood is all part of their manipulation tactics disguised as "feminism", and females are chewing on that apple like it's nothing!

It's true, there's always been a propagandistic element to mass media, but the difference is they didn't used to go so whole hog on it like they do now, it's utterly shocking just how obvious they are with their biases now.

I used to read Time magazine for example, which was always obviously liberal, but at least kept up the pretension of being somewhat objective, then Trump was elected and I was completely aghast at how criminally biased the magazine became.

Another difference though is the agreeability of the messages they used to put out, the dynamics of American culture have changed so radically in recent years that it's terrifying, but America used to be a country with the Religious Right that was very controlling, especially of people's sexuality, and Hollywood offered an alternative view that was more relaxed and more fun than diehard buttoned down conservatism.

But now the tables have turned and now we have what is basically the left wing equivalent of the Religious Right that are even more controlling and uncompromising and this time Hollywood is on their side.

So all politics aside this simply results in media that is less fun, propaganda is simply boring, it's not fun to be preached at, what goes on in the media today really is no different than reading a Chick tract, it's that same level of bald faced propaganda that is creepily detached from reality and we're expected to just suck this shit down because it comes from a left wing angle? Fuck that.

Basically while the media has always had a liberal bias, it also used to be more about simply giving you a good time, making you laugh, turning you on, hyping you up, now it just wants to tell you what to think, your entertainment is a very distant afterthought.
