Without having read any articles about his stance on Antifa, I hold out hope that he's only familiar with Boston Antifa, and thinks all of Antifa are like them, and just doing funny stuff in the same vein he himself used to.
Seriously though, that rich, Hollywood celebrity-lifestyle bubble seems like it can be one of the worst offenders when it comes to robbing people of their intellect, common sense, and creativity. A church was planning on hosting a screening of the Jordan Peterson documentary. Some antifa got a hold of the pastor's cell number and sent him a threatening text. So the church bailed. I believe it actually happened while the priest was in the middle of an interview about the event.

No idea if they actually reported it to the police. I'd love to think that threatening a pastor with violence/death would be the sort of thing that would get cops off their asses. Pinging a cellphone can't be that complicated for law enforcement, but considering how much bullshit antifa gets away with you can rate me optimistic on that one.

To tie this to the topic of the thread, I think there is a similar smaller-scale version of this phenomenon that is rife within the Antifa movement, especially the big ones like Rose City Antifa. We already more or less confirmed it was going in with By Any Means Necessary (Yvette Falarca's gang) and I would not be surprised if similar shady things are going on in RCA and other Antifa gangs in the Torch Network.

Antifa is a militant Anarcho-Communist movement that is not only deliberately contrarian to conventional morality, but is also largely unchecked by the government and completely unchecked by the MSM and Silicon Valley and their ranks are crawling with soybeard male feminists and militant troons. It's practically a given that there's probably some sick gender-special queer punk version of Amon Goth or Laverntiy Beria in Rose City Antifa upper ranks.

I've always thought that the one thing that could actually kill Antifa's momentum for good would be them committing an act of murder that can definitively be tied to their activism (like if they kill a civilian bystander while in black bloc or if someone like Andy Ngo gets murdered by someone belonging to Antifa) but I also think that if a major Antifa group is involved in a massive sex scandal (basically Jeffrey Epstein writ small) then they'll be thrown under the bus.

Your real big shots like Bill Clinton are ironclad and guys like Epstein and Weinstein only get taken down when someone needs to be the fall guy to throw under the bus (Harvey Weinstein, Matt Lauer) or are the weakest link in the chain (Jeff Epstein) but if Antifa gets busted, they don't have that kind of clout to get away with it.

There was a thread in A&H the other day where a guy from the communist group "Party of Communists USA" called out his group (by way of tankie "journalist" Jason Unruhe) for having one or more individuals involved in covering up troon rape orgies and using party money to buy drugs. Said individual threatened to murder people who dared speak out about it. So I'd absolutely believe this shit is going on in similar groups since they're so full of degenerates.

For further context, Rubin and Maxime Bernier had rented one of the halls at Mohawk College, in Hamilton, Ontario. AntiFa showed up to protest Bernier, because their convinced that a guy running on a platform of "We don't care about IdPol, we care about whether you love Canada, and want less gov't intrusion in the lives of citizens" is a fascist.

Bernier's party is the furthest "right" you can go in Canada without being some lone crank, so antifa up here has to content themselves with going after JP and Bernier fans unless they want to reduce themselves to harassing a handful of e-celebs.
