This piece of art is from high school I believe. Being married to Chris sounds pretty ideal. I mean he has a PokeCenter built right into his living room. Also it looks like this is before Chris was thinking about Crystal. I wonder what he would name a son if he somehow had one. Also prototype Rosechu on the couch who despite being his wife still looks uncomfortable around OPL.

Might just be a coincidence, but that waifu wife kinda reminds me of a certain someone...

Also I love the dark area Chris drew behind the couch. I guess it's just supposed to be the glow of the tv throwing a shadow, but the way it's drawn it's more like some lingering shadow of desaster and depression preying on poor Christian, waiting to strike.

What's that thing above the "Autisn" to the broom's left?

How come that his art got WORSE after this? Is it the choice of materials? The fact that he wasn't being pressed by the teachers anymore?

I guess it just looks better cause it's not made with Crayola markers, that image is still a display of poor understanding of anatomy, perspective and composition.

The fact there are no Sonichu on it is what makes it "Un-Christian"... ofc. there is the Pokeyballs... meh... close enough.

Speaking as a mother, I disagree. Mothers cherish gifts from their children, no matter how cheap or tacky it is...ESPECIALLY if it has a picture of said kid...

Although my kid is a toddler and not an autistic manchild, so I don't know how different that is.

I picture Barb not really giving a shit about it beyond adding it to the hoard. And then Chris constantly bringing it out and thrusting it upon her. "Oh look, I found the snow globe. Why don't you put it next to you while you nap".

But I have absolutely no evidence or reasoning for this speculation.

That'd be li'l Reginald, I believe.

Yes, but he didn't come up with that name until it was suggested to him by PandaHalo.

In high school his main fantasy was having a little brother. In his 20s this shifted to a sister, which he similarly conflated with a daughter, giving them the same name. Essentially he wants a child in order to have a playmate. In the same vein, Sonichu refers to Chris as "father," but is also his best buddy.

The drawing depicts two aspects of his future life--working in a factory and having a family. He explained this drawing to one of his sweethearts. The assembly line is not actually in his living room.

The only accurate prediction he made was that he would get fat.

Yeah I know it was christmas 04 cause I said that in my original post, I just wanted to know if anyone knew the approximately when the picture was taken
I know this isn't as reliable as EXIF data, but I remember that photo of Barb showing up on Chris's ENSYKAPEIA DRAMAKA PAYGE in 2008. I can't reach edit histories from the pre-OhInternet days, so I have no substantial proof to offer.

This looks like it was done in pastels which are a notably difficult medium to work with. They are very soft and blend easily. This looks like he bore down with all his might. Even in a room full of college-age art students they somehow end up fucking everywhere no matter how careful you are. With Chris'... innovative grip on pencils one wonders how he controlled the pastel.

hehehe... his grip on life is pretty innovative too.

1: What is the pink stuff next to him?
2: Donkey Kong bongo drums... really? As a owner of those myself, i could only imagine a mashup of the "Tock Tock Tock" on his guitar of fail, accompanied by the "Flop Flop Flop" on those plastic bastards.

I'm too busy wondering if his duvet really is that colour or if it could do with a good wash!

I know this isn't a pic of Chris, but in a way the filth of Chris is a part of him. I wonder how bad his bathroom smelled before it went up in flames.

Is there a reason for autistic people to not want to shower regularly? My mom is a social worker (she actually worked with Batabii) and he didn't shower regularly either. He didn't have fecal incontinence but he smelled of Taco Bell marinated in garlic juice. Is it just an oversight or an actual aversion?

off-topic/ I have encountered many people in my life with bathrooms worse than this, and none of them were autistic. Some otherwise normal people are just gross and lazy or were never taught how to clean.
At least the tub was still white. As a kid, at a sleepover, I once had to use someone's shower that had turned black.

I wasn't aware he explained this photo at some point. A factory job eh? I wonder how long OPL would last at a job where he would have to awake before noon. Although I'm sure he was banking on a sweetheart to fix his "biological clock" before finding a real job.

I wasn't aware he ever envisioned himself with a job. He wants to be a "house husband."
Oh yeah, no, for awhile he stuck to the sitcom cliche family, where he'd be a working man.

Edit: It seems to me that a common trope with Chris is where he sticks to really corny tv cliche understandings of the world for awhile until he somehow learns that there are alternatives. And when that happens, it blows his mind. Some examples are him being a house husband instead of getting a job. Or his stance on alcohol. Or tomgirlism.

[shower stuff]
This is just a guess, and I don't intend to sound A-logish, but some people on the spectrum may avoid hygiene due to a degree of laziness or procrastination that may be a common occurence with an ASD. Or it may have something to do with a sensory thing with some. Or a combination of factors?

One good thing that came out of the fire and subsequent reconstruction is that the bathroom(s) at 14BC are relatively clean. For now.
