What makes it funny is not that it's fake. Even they know it's fake, which is why they're trying to hit him over the head with it as another 'lie.'
The funny thing is that they think it's some big scoop, when there was no effort made to make it look real. It's about as convincing as a Mr Potato Head disguise. The absurdity of something so obviously photoshopped triggering their TDS is as perfect as Trump's phone call to Zelensky and beautiful as one of Xi's letters to him.

No fucking shit it was altered. One could see from the eye that it was just a joke. Maybe you can find one little reason for the purpose of the other outrage fests the TDS troupe has had. One little thing that Tramp did that justifies the anger. But this...this is the most unreasonable thing to get mad at. All Tramp did was make light of the dog being a hero. If this was real, the news would've reported that Tramp gave a dog a medal of honor instead of Tramp joking about it.
They literally can't go without getting angry at anything he does, even if there's not really even a downside to it like this one.
