This is where I remind everyone of "An Artist Meltdown story" where lily refused to credit an artist, and when the artist got justifiably upset about purposefully antagonised them, admits to it during the video, and claims the act as fair use despite the use of the image not being derivitive in any real fashion, and then called the artists a "bad artist" and umbrella'd every artists who wants to be credited when their work is used and charges justifiable commision rates as Bad Artists also.

Call me optimistic, but I don't think Lily's stupid, having watched a few of her videos Lily can actually be somewhat intelligent when he's not in a frothing rage.

Lily strikes more as someone who has deep, unresolved issues, probably stemming from their childhood, that has drastically warped his way of thinking, a way that was likely only made worse by the parts of Tumblr and the Brony community they threw themselves into. It's safe to say Lily was bullied as a child (shit no need to pull up examples here, just look at her video on bullying) and wasn't a very popular person but now, after a long and bumpy history on the internet, they've managed to stumble upon a small amount of fame. This is probably something Lily's never had before and I imagine it feels great to have a sizable number of people appreciate your opinion. Naturally, Lily's determined to hold onto what he got, and one of those ways is by keeping up this pseudo-Yahtzee meets Jim Sterling persona they've invented.

I'm not sure if Lily still claims this is a "persona" but it's clear that they've more or less adopted it as their definitive personality; this hyper-critical, super LGBT, self-absorbed internet critic. At times I'm not sure if Lily's posts are actually his opinions, his paranoia to keep up his persona, or some way of subconsciously lashing out at someone/ some group that hurt him in the past. For all we know about Lily's early Internet history, we don't really know much about his early life off the web, he's revealed snip-its here and there, but not much. It actually makes me wounder what made him like this. Sadly, the only people who'd know for sure are Lilys' parents and maybe his older brother, but they've pretty much cut all ties with him and at this point and they aren't going to answer any questions some random person over Twitter or Facebook asks them.

To be fair, I thought she was gay when I first saw this. In fact, the average viewer wouldn't even know that unless they looked a bit into her character before hand. Also, "Bi erasure"? Really?

It is shocking that he doesn't like anime, considering how much he uses the worst cliches from anime. Maybe he'd be happier if he watched Sailor Moon or some shit. His comic would at least not be as cliche if he realised how predictable he was being.

You would be surprised how common it is. At it's core the LGBT community really isn't any more enlightened or tolerant than everybode elsy.
There's actually more Bi people than there's gays and lesbians combined, but they recieve almost no funding or attention within the LGBT community.
And if you want a specific example, there's Freddy Mercury. He was openly bisexual and people still insist to this day that he was a gay man.

Ah, but that's the exact reason he doesn't like anime. Just like the real reason why he hates Starlight Glimmer. It's something that mirrors the exact sorts of things he does and he hates being reminded of that truth, that he's not as great or different as he thinks and those traits he despises are arguably worse in himself.

Yeah bi erasure and biphobia are easy to dismiss as silly buzzwords thanks to the fact that they’re heavily misused on social media.
But just taking a stroll through tumblr gives you the impression that bisexuals are hated. There’s posts and even entire blogs dedicated to dismissing and invalidating bi people, usually to prop up or service lesbians somehow.

Bisexuality seems to be one of the key ways to distinguish between actual progressive philosophy and slacktivism. I still wouldn't call "bi erasure" a real thing, it's only done by the twitter/tumblr nutcase squad. We don't need another word to describe this specific brand of hypocrisy among the Social Justice crowd.

Well one thing that noticed that lily peet some stubborn asshole how can't stop bitch about SU even though it's been more than a fucking year now. I went from being annoyed to bored with lily's SU rantfest. I'm not going to waste 10-20 minutes of my life to hear Lily's unpopular opinion of the week, and hear her talk how much better she is than the normie hetero scum. Hell I would much rather have her complain about Josh.

The "heterophobia" is so on the nose with the whole 'See how the straights like it!' by taking things people used to say about gays and replacing 'gay' with 'straight', I would not be surprised if this were the case. Jerry's just an edgy manchild who likes to get a rise out of people they don't like.

if i can chip in;
Bisexual intolerance mainly comes from fellow gay and lesbian people, more so lesbians in my understanding and experiences. they say they dont want a 'person who's had a dick inside them' or 'will end up cheating on me (for a man if a girl or on anybody else if a guy). the daddy issues lesbians tend to make it out that the bisexual will run off with a filthy man, and its less of an issue with gay men but if they take issue to it, mainly they just think the bi person will just cheat on the,m. no sex of the cheater involved just 'because you're bi you're more likely to cheat' its the lesbians that tend to bring the 'dirty man' gendering involved.


Also, many people don't consider opposite sex bi folk. and when these people show up at pride, they may be hassled because 'eww no straight people at pride' even though both or atleast on of the couple is bisexual (or pan sexual or whatever fucking multi-gendered sexuality there is idk).


Hell ive heven heard people say 'its ok for you to be Bi.... BUT you have to end up in a gay relationship' same biphobic shit tbisexuals have to go through with homophobic straight people 'its ok for you to be bi... IF you end up in a straight relationship'
