Supposedly it was actually his roommate/friend Freeze who hit him on the head with a hammer. Angel was strangling Alig and pushed him through a glass credenza/cabinet and Alig was screaming for help. Freeze hit him once and he kept strangling him and a second and third time until he finally fell on the floor. Freeze left the room and when he came back Alig was smothering him with a pillow, had poured some kind of cleaning chemical in his mouth and tried to duct tape his mouth shut. They had the body on ice in their bathtub for a few days and supposedly even had parties while it was there until it started to smell after a few days. Freeze gave Alig a bundle (10 bags of heroin) in exchange for cutting up the body. Alig cut the legs off and they put it in a giant box, hailed a cab and threw it in the Hudson river where it washed ashore a few days later and some kids found it. They both did time for the murder.

This is according to their confessions and the books/films anyway.

Excuse me but I think you'll find Sex Work Is Work Like Any Other and Desmond should be celebrated for being confident and liberated enough to make money off of his sexuality. It's his own free choice, after all!

Just clickbait. They know people will react to it and since most people ignore Mashable, it seems like a good strategy to them. They apparently haven't been able to produce anything worthy of attention for the last two years if they have to start throwing out old content to get noticed.

To be fair, it’s better to keep these guys out in the open instead of driving them underground. It’s easier to keep an eye on them in case they post anything incriminating.
