This was and still is the only issue I really care about. Obama betrayed this promise in such spectacular fashion that I will probably vote anything but Democrat for the rest of my life. Goddammit Barry.
And nowadays most people don't even care about their privacy or their rights and the younger generations are completely indoctrinated, cementing this terrible change.

The only positives to happen under Obama's watch that I can think of were the killing of Bin Laden and gay marriage being legalized on the federal level.
The former was a symbolic victory that had no real impact on the War on Terror, but it did briefly bolster the short-lived optimism of the early 2010's.
The latter wasn't really because of Obama's actions, it was the Supreme Court making a ruling on a case that was filed before Obama was sworn into office. While federal-level same-sex marriage did allow the troon fringe to hijack the LGBT community, it was mainly because the normal gays, lesbians, and bisexuals had won the last big battle and were content to take the win, leaving the troons, SJW's, and the profit-motivated activist groups to take over.
Trump has a lot of good things he can claim in just his first term. His prison reform bill eliminated federal mandatory minimum sentencing and probably did more to help the poor black community than anything Obama or Bush ever did.
He's kept true to his non-interventionist policies for the most part, avoiding wars with Iran and North Korea along with actively reducing our involvement in Syria and Afghanistan. ISIS has pretty much been crushed in the region and even with the occasional lone wolf holdouts, will never be able to recoup their losses.
Epstein died thanks to him. Even if Clinton or the Windsors had Epstein murdered, the fact that Epstein went down at all was because of the fact that Trump found Epstein to be a vile predator and had the courage to do the right thing by indicting him.

That's a really interesting point right there, because the legalization of gay marriage and the fallout soon after was when I really started to notice how crazy the left was getting.
I was like "They got a black president and they got gay marriage and they are still rampaging about injustice? The fuck is going on over there" and they seemed to get crazier, but it sounds like all the normal people just calmed down and the nutsos just took over.
