Oh it will be the "straw", it will. However if you can get a chat with Chuck and see what happening with him and get a legitimate reason as to why he's going around disgracing Fred Rogers good name and get his head back on right, It would help out greatly and properly give him more confidence, I would even take back a lot of the shit I've said about him, However if he's still up in lala-peace keeper-land and continues to pander to both sides he's done.

I am not too optimistic about you talking to Chuck and clearing the air but the one thing he can't do is back out of this mess due to his affidavit. He's either ISWV or KV, there sadly can't be any escape or middle ground for him.

An argument CAN be made that he was middle ground and still is. At least in the sense that 1) his email exchanges between the parties (Monica & co) & 2) him providing an affidavit (a believable and truthful one) for a friend (Vic)
I'd say that substantiates him being middle ground. "Do I choose between my job or a friend?" would be the general outlook on all of this.
BUT BUT BUT..
What hurts that argument is that a lot of what he's saying can also be used to argue that he's unreliable & not by any means someone who's word can be taken at face value.
For the record he has seen my DM but hasn't responded to it. I'll give it another day then Sayonara.. Sent it yesterday night.

I don't think they are. Everything has Funimation and ONLY funimation listed as client. There is no Monica, there is no Ron, only Funimation

A girl I know who has been covering this attempted to contact Chuck. She's been painfully neutral on the situation and not writing "shock" pieces, and Chuck completely ignored her.

So, I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't respond to you. He seems to be the type that only wants to talk to those who he can manipulate, or comparatively be on a higher moral ground than. He's been showing a bit of narcissistic behavior in that respect.

With this, it raises the question of; what kinda bullshittery is this Funi? why you always lie so much. What you gotta hide.
Isn't this also a conflict of interest to some degree? If it is them, and I can't imagine it being any other reason behind it saying Funimation; you are taking responsbility for this crap

A thought just popped in my head. Remember when Chuck was openly following anyone that would follow him back? What if there is a motivation behind it and Funimation could be involved? I know that sounds crazy, but think about it: the people Chuck has chastised have not only been Vic supporters, but supporters that follow him. I could be thinking too much into it but it kinda makes you wonder...

Today's lol-theory : The cost of the lawsuit and excessive use of expensive lawyers, is the reason Funimation had to lay people off.
It's a good decent (aprox in dollars) 168 000+258 000 +54 000= 480 000 bucks

Yeah that's a good point and likely what's going on. As I mentioned it's more so to curb my curiosity rather than to "fix" anything. I like knowing things. He's been open to chatting before especially since our back and forth but I'm not expecting any response from him about this.

I know, it's why I called it a lol-theory. It's just a hilarious image of the top folks prioritizing a spastic lawsuit and spending insane amount of monies instead of essentially taking care of their company and employees. It's probably not the actual reason for their financial hemorraghing, more likely it is just a small part. If a part at all....but how do you get outside this?

I wonder if Rial and Toye even paid a dime of this.
