Negotiation skills go a long way when it comes to guests, as does supply and demand as far as your attendee demographic goes.
This isn't the proper place for that kind of conversation though.

But in regards to the groupie comment, it was less about conventions and more of the fact that you've been found useful by those that make up the defense.
