In regards to Paige, I wonder what the law is regarding “hospice” in Kiwi land. If she has a DNR and is truly dying at some point from infection, what would be the point of getting a new place to put fluids in? Edit: Was going to say they could just put fluids down her NJ but yah, that’s gone too I guess?

Keeping/breeding crested ducks at all is kind of mean. Having one as a "service animal" is sad. I sort of wanted a crested duck for a while, until I found out what caused the little pillbox hat was an open skull and they probably are in constant pain. I look at crested duck owners and breeders the same way I look at people who own/breed French bulldogs (Frenchies are now so genetically fucked that they live 3-4 years of pain and then keel over).

Honestly if it was pre-web it'd make sense. But I don't get how you could have the internet at your disposal and be able to research a pet and its health ahead of time, and still give the go-ahead to creating more demand for a creature who can't help but be miserable.

You know... she might? I know she's on methotrexate (and folate) for her "RA" and she might also have been given steroids. There was definitely a third drug she showed off when she posted a pic of her meds in response to me saying she prolly didn't have RA but now I can't find the cap i took of it... Regardless, she gettin' fat.

Because her voice is fucking nauseating and I don't value my life like other people do, here is a list:
-Zofran
-sancuso patch (for nausea)
-Aristada/Abilify (antipsychotic)
-Emend/Aprepitant (anti-nausea)
-Methotrexate injectable pens, weekly
-Meclizine (anti-nausea/vertigo aka dramamine) "It's a PRN med and my doctor does not like that I take this once a day." No shit.
-Tylenol (2 tablets 2x per day for fibromyalgia and RA)
-Plaquenil (200mg 2x per day for RA)
-Klonopin (1mg 2x per day for anxiety/insomnia)
-Buspar (50mg 2x per day) which.. I have never seen Buspar come in anything higher than like 30mg but I guess..
-Folic acid for mtx side effects
-Midodrine (2.5 mg 2x per day, for dizziness and heart rate issues)
-Lyrica (75mg 2x per day for RA, Fibro, neuropathy)
-Atenolol (12.5 mg beta blocker to keep her heart rate down)
-Famotidine (20mg for GERD, replacing ranitidine due to recall)
-Amitryptiline (50mg nightly for migraines)


So no, no steroids. Just fucking fat from eating on TPN.

This is how she managed to get a fucking GP diagnosis. Look at that and then remember she took extra meds, especially huge amounts of antihistamine, before her GES and didn't tell the med team. Everything goes down her Jtube and this is awful for poor Dani and this is why she needs to be on TPN obvs because she can only handle a giant bolus of drugs OR tube feedings but not both.

And no, I don't know how she manages to have a voice that sounds like a cat in a garbage disposal. Also her PICC wiring is hanging out of her shirt, all her doctors are dumb, and she uses one of those giant four-time-per-day pill boxes even though she only uses it twice a day because it's bigger and more special to whip out in public or whatever.

God damn she's so annoying. But lol at the fact that of the 4 videos I clicked, 100% of the ratings were "thumbs down". Keep trying to convince people you're sick, fatass.

Hospice care in NZ is the same in the US by the looks of it, the major guidelines she’s failing is six month or less left to live (with a medical team to sign off on this) because I think she’d milk the fuck out of that fact and the kicker, which she’s just proven she doesn’t meet with her latest posts - you have to have decided to stop receiving curative treatment for whatever your disease is. Plus inpatient hospices are actual medical facilities, they could easily take care of her comfort with the simple shit she’s reporting. I’d still bet on her being in an assisted living facility somewhere with perhaps a palliative care program in place (IF even half of what’s she’s saying is true) which would mean comfort care like opioid pain killers.

I already know I’m a particularly heartless person when it comes to bed wasters so I thought I’d share a tidbit I found while checking my sources. According to the EIU “New Zealand is the third best place in the world to die – just behind the United Kingdom and Australia.” Too bad she sucks at dying, despite her best efforts. Such a little sepsis warrior!

she was legit trying to give herself serotonin syndrome at one point. She kept asking about what the symptoms were, whether the meds she was on would cause it... And this is not as many drugs as she used to take. She was definitely on Protonix/pantoprazole and linzess/linaclotide plus waay more psych meds and at least some narcotics in the past couple years.

Also remember her GES was fine for liquids becasue they gave her that one during a hospitalization where she couldn't dope herself up with huge doses of anticholinergics and purge everything she ate in the days leading up to it to fuck up her gut motility.

Dani framed it as an anaphylaxis protocol IIRC. I can't find the post now (she DFEs periodically so it might be lost to the ages) but I know she got the list of meds to take from another "spoonie warrior" after covertly asking how to game the test to make sure it showed something.

Holy Christ, Dani’s med list is terrifying. There’s just a lot of duplication that I don’t think any prescriber would authorize if they saw this complete list. Without knowing doses one is not able to know about therapeutic duplication warnings— but:

-Ondansetron (Zofran), meclizine, aprepitant and granisetron (Sancuso): you don’t need all of those. To the best of my knowledge ondansetron and aprepitant are sometimes paired for chemo patients, and some prescribers will treat ondansetron and meclizine as a first line- second line system. All of these? No damn need.


-Aripriprazole (Abilify), pregabalin (Lyrica), busprione and tricyclic antidepressant (Amytriptyline): miss one dose, under or over-dose and your brain is going to feel like garbage, my friend. A psychiatrist might prescribe all three of these in a delicate, balanced cocktail for someone with serious mental health struggles. But without a commitment to compliance, that’s going to be a nightmare. I believe all three of these are excreted renal, so a good doc would require 6-mo kidney levels. Oh, and did we mention they all have the black box warning for suicidal thoughts and behaviors? And she’s taking 4 of them?

-Tylenol, plaquenil and methotrexate- terrible for your liver. Just terrible. Plaquenil is an anti-malarial so that’s fun, the PURPOSE of it is to be rough on the liver. Methotrexate can also cause kidney failure and a lot of her other meds are hard on the kidneys, including if she ever takes Benadryl.

Plaquenil and methotrexate absolutely top my list of drugs not to fuck with unless you have to. Plaquenil side effects are like, terrifying nightmares and corneal toxicity. Methotrexate is an immune suppressant so just like, getting an infection and dying.

-Atenolol and clonazepam (Klonopin): how low do you need your heart rate to be... dead? That’s the major serious reaction I’ve got on this one. Lower your heart rate and then lower your respirations with clonazepam 1mg 2x daily (which is a TON for someone to be prescribing or taking) and you’re just gonna be stone cold dead.

TLDR: Is there a word greater than polypharmacy? Pan-pharmacy? This woman’s kidneys or liver (actually, both) are in serious, serious trouble. And I now don’t doubt that she *does* feel like garbage after seeing that med list.

The word is Qualzucht. Those wacky Germans, a name for everything. It means torture breeding. It applies to Frenchies, and other brachy breeds like pugs and English Bulldogs. I'd apply it to crested ducks. It's happening to Persian Cats too.

Given the sort of misery these animals have, I wonder if ,or maybe when, some *enterprising* sort might try to use one for some sort of MBP action. No need to inflict anything on the poor creatures, they come pre-tortured and in need all all sorts of surgeries and super special care . Apologies if this has already been mentioned.
