I too don't get this. Is he quibbling over the definition of "cutting off" or is he outright denying reality again?

Those are the only two options, right?

I thought top surgery was removal of breast tissue in FTM....is that incorrect?

It's another one of those situations where there's hypothetically a grain of truth in what Jake says. Under the right circumstances and with a lot of skill on the part of the surgeon, breast tissue can be removed with minimal scarring rather than by the radical procedures we're used to seeing the aftermath of. So yes, he is quibbling about the definition of "cutting off".

For the next radical procedure for doctor's removing violet hargrave's not beard will be the next step in trans science

Does he have some hairsplitting he's doing here about "removal of breast tissue doesn't mean they were cut off," or is he just looking at photoshopped-to-hell-and-back images of trans men with faded/minor scars and confident that this means T alone made their chests look like that?

Most of the time I can translate from gnomese with great facility, this has me stumped. Half the photos on the article he linked have huge, darkened mastectomy scars.

Would he also say "we can disprove the idea that breast cancer survivors have their breasts cut off"?
Who the fuck knows what Jake really thinks. He's a spineless lickspittle who will say whatever pleases his masters.

Here's a FtM success story about top surgery:

He does the same when "cutting off" or "chopped off" is applied to the penis. In the page he links to it specifically states that the entire section after the glans penis is "amputated":

Is "amputated and discarded" fundamentally different from "chopped off"? Jake seems to think so. I think Jake does this to minimize the complexity and invasiveness of vaginoplasty in his head. He has referred to it as "minor surgery". With the FtM transsexuals he is just ignoring the massive scars that line the lower pectoral muscle and not even addressing the procedure and end result of phalloplasty.

Jake is in a dilemma. He has progressed to transsexuals do actually have surgeries but he also wants to maintain that cross-sex hormones and blockers are magic potions. To this end he minimizes the surgeries as much as he is able even if that entails hairsplitting terms.

I'm guessing when Jake says "the doctor got it wrong" he means "his outie was an innie because of his newborn fat pad and there was a brief moment of confusion about what he was packing."

Newborn boys have a range of fat pad sizes that can, just like being an obese adult, obscure the penis, especially when flaccid and especially if it wasn't particularly large. It's considered within the range of normal in newborns for penises to sometimes be totally obscured by the fat pad.

It has nothing to do with intersex conditions, and will resolve as the baby changes shape and loses some of the baby fat. He's turned a tired doctor's momentary mistake into a tale about how if that one doctor had only realized, his whole life would have been different, and he'd be Violet Hargrave, intrepid girl reporter (age 37).

With Jake there's always struggle to establish if and where common knowledge intersects with Jake understanding of the world. With the breast thing I think he's being willfully misleading in a genius rhetoric move while also being unwittingly uninformed because he doesn't know shit about shit.

My suspicion: I think he's trying to prove his point by showing that the nipples are still there and, *snort, pushes up glasses*, quod erat demonstratum yon breasts aren't removed.

I also saw this in my Youtube feed a couple of day ago and thought of Jake.

Jake confirms that he thinks MtF transexuals are more female than natal women.

Jake's "friend" here is Kiva/persenche, the tranny that tweeted he's not a real woman and is ugly. So not really a friend of Jake, just another tranny he follows on Twitter because they are employed in the TTRPG market and he hopes to find work there.

MtFs are "fully licensed and notarized" women, no natal woman can make that claim Jake tells us. Lol.

Even with endometriosis MtFs "have you beat on that front"! How so, gynecologist Jake Alley does not enlighten us.

So Jake got some well deserved push back on his Googleshng which I posted and takes that opportunity to dig an even deeper hole.

Femininity--like masculinity--are partly embodied phenomena. They can only be really experienced by inhabiting the appropriate body. Part of that embodied experience of being a woman is experiencing gynecological disorders such as endometriosis. I'm guessing that Jake's interlocutor (will try and locate the exchange later) offered endometriosis as a personal example not as the sine qua non of womanhood.

Jake also accuses his critics of wallowing in self-pity and tells them that there is no suffering contest when it's the case that Jake wallows regularly in self-pity and habitually tries to outdo others in terms of his suffering and deprivation.

"And again, "co-opting" suggests that people are, I suppose, jealous of all this "suffering" and want to get in on it. A notion which holds the obvious appeal of uh... getting to wallow in self-pity all day and pick fights with strangers who have way more serious problems to deal with than yours, I guess? Not really seeing the appeal, but it definitely seems like something to talk to a therapist about. Maybe consider getting some hobbies or something to be able to define yourself outside of how people are mean to you?"
What's amazing about this is that Jake describes the exact thought process he obviously has regarding pretending to be a trans woman, then says "Haha who would ever do that". It's like that joke where a guy describes in detail how he didn't murder his wife and where the body definitely isn't hidden.

Why is a "quick, supportive message" being made publicly on social media in the first place.?

I think Jake thought his comments were clever and just wanted an excuse to repeat them.

It's good to see him being smug, though. It means he will be suicide baiting again by Thanksgiving.

The puzzling part of it that troons really do seem to be envious of the shittiest parts of being a woman, to the point of fetishization. "Trans-women CAN SO have periods! Educate yourself!" they cry. "I want my uterus to be so mad that I'm not pregnant, it tears down the wallpaper!"

Jake suggesting that other people need to get hobbies and stop defining themselves in terms of who is mean to them is always priceless.

That is one of the ways he will always provide at least low grade lolcow amusement even when he is otherwise more boring than Dobson.

Don't forget the furious jostling over the possibility of being sexually assaulted or having to get into prostitution/"sex work".

I know that Jake is both dumb and a liar, but is he really comparing a male having a penis to endometriosis?
Women can be made infertile because of it, and your organs can end up stuck together. This is the guy who thinks that HRT is some magical sex-change potion so I shouldn't be surprised at this point.

//insert jake quote about not discussing something unless you're fully informed//

Jake including a self-drag in almost every googleshng has me in awe. Is there anyone lacking more in self-awareness than our dear Violet?
