guys stop msging hassan, he has nothing to do with dsp

I got a fucking essay from this moron lul
Has he been messaged about the YouTube/FTC shit or is he reading the sub-forum? Seems like an awfully strange thing to bring up out of the blue while feigning complete ignorance of even the existence of this "person or persons" if no one brought it up to him. I haven't been following the Twitter chains, but why would anyone have brought up an issue with YouTube's platform with a Twitch staffer?

Hassan's feigned ignorance and denials of simple facts speak volumes about Twitch's (mis)management and how little morals or integrity matter when getting the thot/grifter bucks. What an absolute shitshow that company is. You could probably ask Mike Judge to do a spinoff show of Silicon Valley just on the antics of Twitch staff.

I mentioned twitch being fined for dave's ftc violations as a meme

It's the typical new IT lifecycle.

  1. Found a company that has an odd idea as its basis
  2. Heavily police the community, removing anyone violating the ToS or using the service in a way not intended
  3. Keep raising that VC
  4. Become a bastion for "FRINGE_GROUP", bolstering them up
  5. Market like a motherfucker
  6. Now that you're a respected, well loved site sell out to the largest bidder
    1. In this case, it was Amazon and $1 billion
  7. Remember steps 2-4? Fuck 'em
  8. Monetize everything possible
  9. Revert back to the classic sales triangle of Babies, Baby Animals, and Sex
  10. Laugh laugh laugh

Twitch staffer gets several messages about a Twitch partner breaking TOS. "I dont know who he is, not my job, you guys got a hard on for this guy, take off the tinfoil hat."

That's pretty unprofessional if you ask me. So instead of looking into the guy, or even just passing along the info to the moderation team, he attacks the people trying to bring attention to a racist scammer. Either he knows all about DSP and really is protecting him or he is incompetent at his job.

he probably thinks it's a LSF brigade

Jesus, what did this thread turn into? Maybe next week you guys can pick another random Twitch staff member who was in Phil's chat for a few minutes and bombard them with questions too. Phil's got to stop taking days off.

I barely had to wait 3 seconds after I hit send to get a reply

I'm waiting for someone to ask the following questions:

1) Do you manage any Twitch partners yourself, meaning are you a direct point of contact for any partner? (If yes) Is DSP one of those partners?
2) Since you're not involved in moderation, who is a person that I could speak with directly to get a better understanding of how reports are handled and why a streamer using the words "faggot" and "homo" was not disciplined despite reports being made through the on-site reporting tool?

To be fair, here's the 1st line for Twitch's job description of "Strategic Partnerships Manager", posted 20 days ago (and most similar to Hassan's listed job of Strategic Account Manager, Partnerships):

"Be the primary point of contact for Partners for all key areas (programming, advertising, marketing, finance) to manage activities such as content promotions, new user acquisition opportunities, Partner payments and reporting"

So while it makes sense that he wouldn't have anything to do with direct moderation, his claim that he has absolutely no idea who Phil is and wouldn't possibly have worked with him is...less likely.

There's also the following job tasks:

"Provide first level of support to partners through channel or event set up and ensure prompt resolution of questions and issues. Be able to champion the partnership within Twitch and in turn, be a powerful advocate for Twitch in relation to the Partner"
"Manage on-boarding of new channel partners including channel set-up, reviewing content ingestion and publishing process, teaching partners how to use the dashboard and related features and working with internal teams to coordinate the launch of new channels"

A "Partnerships Account Manager" position shows similar job tasks.

Edit: All this to say, though, that it's clear he has no intention of doing anything, and I'm pretty sure talking to him further is a waste of time.

"I've never even talked to the guy. I went and checked..."

"...I don't even know who this guy is."

Bruh. He's a partnered streamer, and that kinda falls into your responsibility. He knows who DSP is if he's getting massive attention towards it. Is he seriously going to not look him in the eye this whole time? You would think you would at least look into it now.
who DOESNT know who the guy that serviced his engine on stream is these days? lol

Who cares if he will do anything or not about DSP? Keep messaging him, his pissbaby blustering rants about tinfoil hats are entertaining enough for now. And this is probably the closest thing to "work" he's done this week.

ETA: I would also like to see what his answers to @actually's questions are.

Wait what? There was a time where posting on DSP's twitter timeline was frowned upon, but now multiple kiwis are bugging a twitch employee who was present for a stream because... reasons?

So, how was the texture of the poo? Did you wash your hands afterwards, or is that Ecoli just for show?

He won't answer @actually's questions, there's no way.
side question - does Hassan exclusively manage only the habitual line-steppers? IE, the thots + DSP group that makes a lot of money but also causes regular controversy or vitriol (which = more money and attention for Twitch), so they want to keep them around? Hassan is pretty good at deflecting questions right off of his fat backfolds.

Who are the kiwis in question? As far as I know these are random twitter trolls that I happen to follow.

Noone is trying to fuck with Hassan, get him doxed, get him fired, flat out insulting him and/or harassing him.
He has a Twtter bio stating what he does, and I'll guess he allows people to message him, so I personally don't see anything wrong with asking him why he avoids doing his job, and why a partner streamer is being protected by him.

Wow, this footage is amazing. Phil violently shakes a baby trying to "soothe" it and fails to notice that it's only getting more and more upset as he shakes it. How do you not pick up on that at all? I haven't even played the game and I understand the concept of that mini-game.

gin tweet after a big day off
