I'm just going to flat out say it, until we get news from a credible source (Nick, anything not Twitter) I am going to automatically assume that Vic lost the case and Chupp sentenced him to life in prison while everyone, including Ty, clapped. Except for the Fuhrer, since he probably can't clap.

Hope for the best, expect the worst, as they say.

Vic is tense because he's in a room full of people who he believes hate him with only his counsel on his side and maybe a small handful of people there to support him.

Imagine having to stand up in front of all the people who bullied you in high school because you're the kind of low life bitch who would hold onto some mean words that were said to you when you were a kid and would make stunning and brave posts about surviving bullying. Yeah? That's where Vic is at. Knowing that people who bullied him and continue to do so are controlling his fate.

I recall, right back at the TCPA hearing, someone said that he came into the court looking angry. I've wondered more than once what pissed in his coffee that morning and whether it's the reason why he chupped so hard. Maybe he had a spat with his wife (or gay lover - it's 2019, I don't judge) and took it out on the parties. Now he might be trying to make recompense for that.

I dunno.

Plaintiffs would have had to take merits to appeals regardless, they only get so much room to argue shit there, no reason to overburden them w/ fees too :^)

A lot of things went into that hearing. I'm not gonna make too many assumptions but I'm focusing on his behavior recently versus what happened before.

I also think having a changeup in Vic's talking counsel did some good for him. Chupp might not be a big fan of Ty, but he's definitely not a fan of Lemoine and hasn't been since he came into the picture.

Would be a shame if the plaintiff made a point of this during appeals concerning his public figure status. "Chupp was clearly in the wrong on labelling Vic as a public figure not only because the defamation is what made him popular, but because the majority of the court audience that appeared that made Chupp decide Vic was a public figure were there for the defendants and not the plaintiff."
