Some of you talk about the upcoming snap back on LGTBQs like it's a bad thing

The video is a debate between the blonde woman and the portly man. He is arguing that gays in Russia should be allowed to have their pride parade, marriage equality, rainbow flag, etc. She is arguing against it and is using the video of Desmond to prove her point. Piggylou refuses to comprehend how much damage she’s leaving for the LGBT community in her wake.
I blame members of the LGBT Community more than I do Shamu. They're willing celebrating and propping her and her pimping of Desmond up on a pedestal. If they want this to be their Grassy knoll then let them.
Notsexual™! Notsexual™! Notsexual™! Notsexual™! Notsexual™! Notsexual™!It's going to be hosted by a drag queen with the stage name Jessica L'Whor. Sure sounds like a child friendly and appropriate stage name and persona right off the bat.
The parents should be fair game, however. When someone eventually shoots one of these events up I sure hope they have the dicipline and composure not to target any innocent children. That would be unfortunate.
Or, better said, for hardcore degenerates, a kid dancing among prostitutes is not a big deal.
The "non-sexual" attitude here is, I think, a bigger problem that needs more discussion (and I dont' remember if I mentioned it here or IRL). The problem, I believe, is that these people aren't lying or are disingenuous when they claim that Desmond's act is "non-sexual": it's just that they have moved the Overton window just too much to the left. If you make drag queens "normal", if you remove the definition of sexual identity, if you say "virginity is a social construct", "kids are queer", and you insist that sexual intimacy is repressive, then a kid dancing for strangers is not remotely sexual either, it's just him or her expressing themselves.
Or, better said, for hardcore degenerates, a kid dancing among prostitutes is not a big deal.
On another note I cannot fathom how an adult male performing as "Jessica L'Whor" is not terribly offensive to all women involved
Not to get off topic but I love to chime in on Russian stuff... some background concerning this place:doesn't Chechnya have "death camps" for gays now? gay holocaust when?
I did know about the shit fest of the guerrilla fighting that was the Chechen wars. a lot of young Russians specifically died while trying to take Grozny (the capital) during the first war. and yes, removing children from a bad environment is good for them. specifically in this case Desmond would feel a lot better off under foster care than be in the care of his abusive pedophiliac motherNot to get off topic but I love to chime in on Russian stuff... some background concerning this place:
Chechnya is so very interesting. There is a longstanding history of fighting against Imperial Russia, but the more recent conflicts really stem from
a few things Russia have done in the 20th century.
Basically in the past (think end of ww2) the Russian government had the Chechens as a whole deported to Uzbekistan, away from their ancestral homes. This is like 1/3 of the total chechens, while that may seem low, those who were "lucky" enough to stay were very pissed, even after 1957 when they were invited back by Societ officials.
Why did the Russians do this? Many reasons, mostly because they are strongly Islamic and felt a sense of independence from the mainland of Russia in a time where Russia basically had an absolute rule under Stalin, but his policies required everyone to buy into the religion of communism, and of course this doesn't blend with communism for obvious reasons.
Hell, traditional Russian orthodoxy conflicted with communism in many ways. Though this tradition could not be severed without losing a national identity, which was very important for morale. Imperial Russia was brought down by a great many things, but the fact that the people, the nobility, the military, and the church were all angry at the same time at the Tsar is basically why this revolution was so successful. Under communism the noble class is removed, the people are worked to the bone, the military is constantly made more powerful, and the church takes a backseat to the religion of communism. You can see why Stalin, Lenin, and their successors were playing a careful balancing game.
Anyways, the Soviet Union falls in the mid 1990s. Tensions get rough when they must decide how much power each of these new enclaves breaking off from the former USSR are to be given. Because Russia is trying to retain as much land as possible at this point, they give some of these enclaves more power than others. And Chechnya, still sore from discrimination in the USSR, wants complete autonomy. Spoiler: Boris Yeltsin isn't interested in this.
With tensions high, the Chechens sort of ramp up the general discrimination and violence against non chechens, with many either fleeing the north Caucasus or being killed in the process
This culminates in Yeltsin laughing off their request for independence. And then war breaks out. While like 10k soldiers on either side die, with many more missing or wounded, the civilian casualties are fucking enormous (80k +).
It is a huge blow to Russia when they actually lose this conflict. Post cold war, they are still very much in dick measuring contest with the US, and this is embarassing. They are forced to sign a peace treaty, conceding independence to this little mountain region. If you have played ck2, then you will understand what it means when Russian still maintained de jure ownership over the region. Basically it's like a promise that the Chechens won't go find a new daddy unless it is Russia.
So restlessness grows in this little Islamic republic, hate against Russia for decimating the capital, Grozny, is rampant. Plus there are sanctions, not in an official manner, but enough to make rebuilding impossible.
Russian narrative is that terrorist acts begin to occur. Some controversy here is if these are false flag type events, but either way it spurns the second Chechen War, started by Yeltsin, but on the first day of the year 2000, a new man is in charge. Enter Vladmir Putin.
This is sort of like his big break, because they decimate these Chechen forces while not sustaining comparable casualties on the Russian side. Grozny is fucked again in the process.
Putin inserts a native Chechen as the leader, who on the onset of this second war jumped over to the Russian side. He's assassinated by another Chechen Islamist in 2004 (via a bomb at a soccer game) and his son takes over soon after.
This son is Ramzan Kadyrov. He is simultaneously seen as a lapdog to Putin and also an annoying pest. But he lives like a king. In order to gain support from Islamists who hate his father for flipping sides, he really pushes the Islamic values in Chechnya. One of which is a crackdown on LGBT. Of course Ramzan denies it all, saying there are no gays in Chechnya... but that is probably because they have all been exterminated.
I think how he says this is clever, but we all know he is bullshitting. I do not think the answers for children like Desmond are to remove them completely like this, but it's not like anyone will have the balls to do any research on whether removing these children from their environments will have a positive effect. Though I bet it will.

Christ this is depressing as fuck. Desmond is clearly a victim of child abuse and grooming.
I went to school with some guys from there, they were insanely agressive and dumb(Chechnya is so very interesting.
Of course. The only things that are getting researched are ones which are "supposed" to show how progressives are right. Then it turns out they aren't, and we do not hear anything about the results for decades.I do not think the answers for children like Desmond are to remove them completely like this, but it's not like anyone will have the balls to do any research on whether removing these children from their environments will have a positive effect. I think its a safe bet that Shamu ain't the pedophile Desmond has for a parent. If his Father wasn't he would have got up and taken Desmond as far away from Shamu as humanly possible.
This is what I work long hours and late nights only to get 200 dollars sucked out of my paycheck for? I almost feel like cheating on my taxes next yearThis took place at the Smithsonian, so your federal tax dollars are literally paying for child drag dance performances.
Mike high comics.? The definite comic book store in the 90s? That you could mail order the latest issues from? Jesus Christ we have sunk so low since then
It is very sad when bronies of all people have better standards of deceny when it comes to this. See when I was tailing CWC at the final bronycon I overheard and saw on the information booklet that part of a nearby hotel was hosting mature themed entertainment (no not THAT kind) I never saw it myself but through the grapevine I heard it consisted of uncensored stand-up meant to roast the show's writers and actors and some burlesque show or two, that kinda stuff. the only twist on the burlesque stuff is that it was done by cosplayers in full body suits as opposed to... whatever Desmond is doing. The problem is the drag queens in attendance. If you removed their presence, maybe it wouldn't be so bad. But, there's like maybe 10% of the drag community that isn't either a pedo or mentally ill. And most of the time they don't even do a basic background check on these dudes (which is how convicted pedos on a sex registry were still allowed to do drag story time at libraries).
I'm also not sure that we need to encourage kids to do this. Kids do lots of things simply because everyone else is doing them. If your kid wants to do it, I guess I wouldn't advocate discouraging them (just keep the performances at home, not out in public) -- but I think a lot of kids get into this because their parents (especially the moms) are getting them interested. I mean, someone has to drive these kids to events like this. And most parents aren't going to be willing to give up precious time after work or on weekends for something that they aren't really on board with.
And if they aren't given access to it on TV or the internet -- how are they even learning about drag in the first place? I don't think kids need to know about drag because it is an ADULT form of entertainment. I mean, you could remove the sexual parts of pole dancing and let strippers teach kids how to do it as a "fun exercise" (which is already being done, btw) -- but do your kids really need to know about pole dancing at a young age? I always liked the joke about it being a parent's job to keep their daughters off the pole. I'd also say it's their job to keep their kids from becoming drag queens, too. That's not an outcome any parent really wants, except the degenerates ones.
