According to boogie he is a couple hours from Nashville. I have been trying to look for any local new stories that could verify what he has been saying with no luck so far. With something like that accident happening atleast the local news in that area would report on it. I have feeling this is going to be found out to be fake and he crashed his own car (while most likely on his phone doing something stupid) and just a cover story. I will keep looking around at the various local news in Memphis, Jackson and Nashville and I will post here if I find anything.

I am working under the assumption that he is coming from his home in Arkansas and will until someone finds out otherwise.

Edit: I have look at the local ABC,NBC,CBS, and FOX stations for Memphis, Jackson and Nashville and there is nothing relating to any type of pile up involving a semi truck, let alone one so specific as being causes after the driver of the semi had a stroke.

It's not that at all. He's lying about his family, and making them out to be absolute monsters so that:

A: He's safe from criticism about his weight: "I was abused so badly as a kid, and my coping mechanism is to eat! I can't help it, it's so difficult to stop!"

B: He comes off looking like a victim, which he can pull out of his sleeve any time he needs to "helpfully remind" people of that when he makes a fuckup and/or when he's suicide baiting and gets called out for it. On top of that he can use victim status to get a dopamine hit from the asspats he gets from his cult fanbase on-demand.

C: In the case of his sister, it's petty revenge for when someone contacted her asking about his claims he makes of sexual/violent abuse by their parents and she flat-out confirmed that he's full of shit. She's been lumped in with Ma' and Pa' Williams ever since in the Aristocrats joke he makes his early life out to be.

In my opinion it's the clearest sign that this man really is a fucking sociopath and the darkest thing he does on the daily, worse even than the suicide baiting. I'd call it abhorrent but I think that'd be an understatement.

I used to think he was a piece of shit before now, after this traffic debacle, it's to a degree that I think isn't remotely humorous in any way. I honestly hope karma sicks him past the fat.
 
We got a few updates from him regarding the crash.

According to him the car is worth only $2.5k (which is about right) and he thinks it will be declared totaled by his insurance. Based on the pictures he posted on twitter I would agree, because that is way more than $2.5k worth of damage.

I wonder if there isn't a new Content Cop video because it really was going to be on Boogie. Idubbbz announced one around the time criticism of Boogie was gaining traction and though Ian might be known for edgy on youtube I think he'd drop the video because 1. being edgy on youtube isn't as big anymore (I even heard he was at risk of losing his channel and I can believe he'd be on thin ice for the Tana video at least, especially since he's partnered with the network that dropped Pewdiepie) and 2. if there's even a chance it would end in a "content cop resulted in Boogie trying to kill himself" scenario he wouldn't risk it.

Anyway Boogie is still a manipulative shithead and I can't wait for him to flipflop again and threaten physical violence (lol as if he could ever do that) against people for talking shit about his dad, who he's called a rapist and abuser on his public Twitter.

This is my train of thought as well. I think we all know Boogie won't kill himself, but the risk of being "the bully that tortured the poor sweet innocent fat boy" would be a bullet in the head to any professional YouTuber, "edgy" or not. I also don't put it past Boogie to put forth an unusual amount of effort into faking a suicide attempt in order to punish someone who attempted such a response to him, either.

There's too much risk involved for too many of the big guys to go after him, which is pretty much insurance that anyone who can be too big to be dismissed as "the Kiwis and the liars of The Reddits" won't do shit, leaving it up to people like Christopher Tom and others to essentially hack away at the elephants legs.
