Yeah Nick and Ty are the true winners

I love this part (24 minute mark) where he talks about the possibility of opening his own dubbing studio. Says he is talking to "some people" about it.

As much as I'd love to see this happen, is it really the best course of action? Businesses are hard to start and even harder to keep going. I've been trying to start my own for a while. Now granted I'm fairly young and I haven't had the time or the exposure to amass the resources Vic has.

If anyone could do it, it'd be him. Be hilarious if he managed to snipe the licenses for all of the shows he was in.

I mean, when the defendants end up with a financial loss, that would be funny on its own. Marchi and Rial mostly depend on money from fans, so there will be more of a financial impact in the future. Can't imagine it helped Funi much either. Even if you want to listen to their crappy voices and butchered localizations, you can just pirate the stuff and buy merchandise from the japanese companies.

Kinda feels funny, that the morons ended up owing the mosquito gas station more because he was special enough to "research" KF.

Even with their temporary "win" they can only complain.

Wait till all the fat ladies have sung. IMHO you (and Sabat and Sabat's fans) will have a lot more to complain about.

Can't imagine it helped Funi much either.
Anyone know how to completely anonymously setup torrent seeding boxes - in a way that could never be traced (back to any one person anyway)?

"... chapter comes to a close ..." ????

Chupp almost explicitly admitted (arbitration, the question to Lemoine, the pittance in sanctions) that the case is coming back, yet this toerag thinks something is closed?

"see you in a couple of months" is not CLOSED in any way

He was also cucked by Nick with the jellybean story. He even admitted as much in his depo. Monica never told him about it before Nicky broke the story.

Yeah, it just so happened that Soye never heard Monica's jellybean story or hotel kind-of-sort-of-but-not-really rape story until JUST THIS YEAR. Monica is always talking about how they know EVERY aspect of each other's lives because they are so in love and trust each other. So much for that. Clearly Monica either did not trust Soye or maybe... MADE SHIT UP? Although the jellybean story was not entirely a fabrication, she embellished it quite a bit. Clearly this joke didn't bother her until very recently for some reason. The hotel story wasn't even brought up until after the investigation and she needed a week to concoct her story before posting it on social media... Since everyone was "harassing" her about what Vic did to her. She had to think of SOMETHING to get everyone to shut up. Too bad it backfired. Just shows how she's full of shit. She's lied about so much and there's proof of that.

:winner:Special Thanks to the DoXeMoN Trainers Club.:winner:

The detective skills of you kiwis never ceases to amaze me. Maybe Lemonhead should of hired you guys to do his PI work instead. Lmao.

ehh why not both also? I mean a little of column A and a little of Column B = Lemonaids… but like you said we are just speculating. I am just finding it hilarious that the defense coordinated the lawsuit so much but once they got their judgement went their separate ways and it ended up screwing MoRon and Funi in the end thanks to Johnson.

Johnson is the only one who seems to be working for his client... Rather than trying to work with the others to try to get everyone else off the hook. It's almost like he's the only one who is doing his job properly. The dude has earned respect for that. Not being insane helped earn that respect. It shouldn't matter to him what the other defendants have to owe... He's just doing whatever is in the best interest of Jamie.

Okay so story time Kiwis. I’m a weeb whose gone to more cons then I can count since I was fresh out of high school and that has not changed. I have met several actors several times.

My first con experience with Vic was I believe A-kon 2012. I was in line to get his autograph. However the line was capped at 2 hours but I was willing to wait. Problem was Vic eventually had a panel coming up. He was going to cut it close so to make things quicker they had Vic go down the line and just sign people’s stuff so they can get to his panel quickly. I never got the chance because Vic's handler basically had to pry Vic away from the line he was running late. He was visibly annoyed, I remember him rolling his eyes distinctly as Vic stopped again to hear a story from this guy and his girlfriend in line who were ahead of me. He was literally 4 people away from autographing for me too. But the reason he was running late? He was stopping to actually talk to the fans.

He would shake their hands, or give them a hug, and express gratitude to his fans. I could visibly see this annoyed the hell out of his handler who just wanted to get Vic out of there to his panel on time. While I was disappointed at not getting his autograph back then, I wasn’t too upset because I saw first hand how Vic cared to meet each and every one of his fans. He didn’t just one and done those autographs, ignoring the fans who wanted to meet him. Even though it made him late,he wanted to at least express his happiness and gratitude to each weeb in that line before they finally dragged him away.

The guy is friends with Johnny Yong Bosch. Obviously that thing is a morpher. Clearly Vic was a Power Ranger.

Yep. I see his lines get capped pretty much every con I've been to. I missed out on a panel because of that. Luckily enough he had a signing right after the panel, so I just waited for that instead. Despite how early of a start I had because I missed out on the panel, there was still a considerable amount of people waiting ahead of me.

I notice that he tries to make each interaction personable and memorable. It is just his way of thanking the fans. He did a small recording on my friend's phone and we were ecstatic. He does things you don't really expect VAs to do. So, as I have stated before. I was pleasantly surprised by my first meeting with Vic. I can believe that he's constantly late because Vic just wants to appease everyone and chat with fans while he can.

After looking at the official ruling for fees and sanctions, I am shocked to see a more reasonable ruling in all this. So much for the prediction of Vic owing a million to each person or whatever ridiculous number they thought it was gonna be. It's only a quarter million, which is still a lot of money... But as a total it's not too bad since there are four defendants. It is funny that KV forgets that it was no where near their predictions and the focus on the 500,000 as if Vic owes it now. It doesn't matter what happens. As long as Vic owes the defendants a cent, it is a win for them. Although the total was slashed down quite a bit from what was being asked, aside from Johnson's, we can consider this a heavy blow to Funi and Moron. There are really no winners in this scenario, except for Jamie... I guess.

Well Jaimie supposedly has cons not inviting her. Clearly because of this and not because she's a shithead.

I think some Kiwis looked into that claim and, after some number-crunching, determined that Jamie was attending her usual average of cons this time of year.

In other words, Marchi is a liar and water is wet.

Again I actually liked johnson(even though he did make fun of em for the voice) because of how he conducted himself. I mean yeah he did a few dirty things, but so do all lawyers(even nick admitted to getting a guy free because of a technicality of a wrong drug test...i dont remember which video). Maybe after the curtains close completely, maybe nick can get em on to talk(I doubt it, but would be interesting).

What happened at the hearing?

Oh it's a shame ANN didn't' get roped in but at least their site has resorted to ebegging.
Honestly, I can live with Marz and hanleia getting away. Suing them would be a waste of time and money anyway. There's nothing that Vic could win by suing them, they've got no money and their lives are already completely pathetic.

But, man...I can't really live with the thought of ANN and io9 getting away. Sure, karma got to them anyway, they're dying, but still. An official retraction of their articles and an admittance of them failing to meet journalistic standards would've been nice.

She may be attending the same number of cons as before, but has she been making as much money as before? 🤔

She attends the same number because atm there aren't too many people who care enough to report her conduct to every con that invites her. I mean, she did bully an autistic person of color in public and on her Twitter after all. Can't imagine too many would want to get her signature either way, she's just such a vapid, unimportant and unlikeable person in general.

She may be attending the same number of cons as before, but has she been making as much money as before? 🤔
Haha, that's one way of looking at it. Also keep in mind that Marchi probably thought that she could "steal" fans and con invites from Vic; for all we know, she's just pissed that she isn't going to MORE conventions.

I love this part (24 minute mark) where he talks about the possibility of opening his own dubbing studio. Says he is talking to "some people" about it.

I loved that part, too. He did say that he was "too tired at the moment" to open his own studio which hit me in the feels *sigh*

This lawsuit is clearly still affecting him in some sort of way, even though he doesn't show it.
