Quite possible this was purely punitive. I think Nick said pretty much the following which I believe. To save face what Lemon will do is Bill out the amount to Ron & Monica and they'll say they can't pay for it then they'll renegociate what they can afford. And they will hide their punitive fees this way. But the caveat is that his firm would more or less have to know what is up and allow him to slash fees to his clients.

The interesting thing here is one of Lemoneaids bosses were at the last two hearings when it came to money. So they did probably rack up some real money using the law firms resources but it probably not going to fall under reasonable atty fees. So now Lemonaids either has to hope appeals work out for him, press MoRon to pay or the firm takes the hit, should be interesting none the less.
