Krystalyn Kandyce is the kinda name you'd see in some kind of sleezy tittie bar in the middle of nowhere. Seriously, that's the kinda name you'd expect to find in the Sammie Bushart thread.

It's probably for the best Raelyn turned out to be a brainless blob that died shortly after birth. If she was an actual child she probably would've been doomed to being neglected while mommy ran to the gas station for lotto tickets and Newports in between being beaten with a belt or having god knows what done to her by mommy's parade of sketchy boyfriends.

This bitch is still carrying the baby she took funeral funds for and it's her second screwed up child .

Each of her children can't be more than a year apart and she indicates she isn't done breeding.

Apparently, chances after the first neural tube defect increase to 1/100 even with folic acid supplements. And considering we have found like one relevant gene, it's probably higher for many after the first.

Kinda weird how prevalent they (NTDs) are at 1/1000 births. Like, differentiation of the embryo is complicated but it's also highly conserved across all mammalia. You'd think it'd be far rarer.

It's possible they had a rare form of Down Syndome known as the Mosaic karotype. In mosaicism forms of disorders not all cells carry the genetic mutation, so some of their cells are normal and some carry the extra chromosome. They tend to either have much milder symptoms or dont show all the symptoms of Down syndrome.

As for the neck, a small subsection of people with Down syndrome (10 to 20% have no symptoms, of this 2% may require fusion) require spinal fusion since they have Atlantoaxial instability where the spinal cord is getting compressed.

I first heard the term rainbow baby only about six months ago. It was some inane headline about some random woman and her rainbow baby birth. I thought it was some term for the kids of gay people used for attention whoring. Evidently I wasn't wrong about the attention whoring, but I liked it better when I thought it meant kids of gay people.

That reminds me of the legendary Poison Womb debacle years ago on Something Awful. Only that was crazy fundies paying more attention to miscarriages, not deformed potatoes, as opposed to their living kids.

I am continually glad that I don't have to deal with potato moms. No, your baby isn't functional. I guess you can hold out hope so it can generate a brain.

With old people it's easy because you just keep the family in the room when they code and the family fills out the DNR with lightning speed after they hear ribs cracking.

Tater moms, eh, there's nothing you can do to dissuade their obsession.

There are terrible, horrible, dark corners of the Internet and the only thing you can do about them is to stay away from them as best you can. The moment someone realizes this for the first time...it will never not be an inspiration.
