Well once they get into the beta, they have to go into their private Discord in order to activate it, so it'd be however much it costs to get into there. Either way, some game historians are still getting incredibly pissed off and are not happy both because of the scumminess of using their fans like this, and because said fans are now infecting their hobbies.
I'd say I hope this pushes Arin to come clean with his fans about this 'Dendy' game; but that would mean he'd stand to lose money/have to admit personal blame for something, so I'd only be setting myself up for major disappointment, in the end.
I wouldn't say that. IIRC, isn't this type of practice incredibly illegal on YouTube? Like, jail time and fines illegal, given they still haven't properly disclosed in the video that this is a paid promotion/sponsor for their own game?
