I'm in no way inherently predisposed to hate the "popular" music that comes out these days, if hard pressed I could probably even name a recent song or two I thought was alright... It's just that the main trend in music a few years ago was *literally* playing fart sounds into your ears while the people who produced it (presumably) laughed at the idiots of the day that ate it up. It's not my fault that while "popular music" has admittedly changed slightly, it still hasn't managed to get much better than that. (now it's people lazily mumbling random rhyming shit into your ears while barely audible fart music plays in the background) and I'm even that old.

Me thinking that kind of music is dumb is *not* the same thing as pre-boomers squawking that rock and roll was "The Devil's Music", and "you will go to hell if you listen to it/society will crumble because Elvis Presley is swinging his hips and singing 'black' music." I'm not passing any sort of moral judgement onto music today, or the people who enjoy it, I just happen to think it's mostly shit. But hey, if that floats your boat more power to you...

It wasn’t just “devils music” it was also “it sounds like a bunch of monkeys” and metal was a lot of “it sounds like screeching” which are analogies not unlike your description of dub step.
Face it, you’re just being a boomer. I would implore you to look at your favorite bands. If they’re still alive, they likely still put out music and you can easily get your fix. Look for less popular groups that take a little more wiggling to discover. I barely heard any dubstep when it was popular because I was listening to different radio stations. Im not one to throw the art label on everything but this comes from the same mouth that cries about how games arent as good as they used to be. Its funny because Movies are technically a product to make money as well as a lot of music, but for some reason those are art and vidyas dont get to be. Everything is cyclical. Cultural phenomena gets repackaged and resold decade after decade. But I find it's an an almost unprecedented level since about the late nineties. The music/film industries (and to a lesser extent, vidya, though that seems to be picking up now with reboots/remasters as well) especially have been over-indulging in peoples natural and insatiable hunger for nostalgia. He's rooted in a nostalgia loop that just-so-happens to coincide with the vaporwave craze. It's an aesthetic, which is important in building a brand. Planting himself firmly in the nostalgia trip he's on creates a static realm which allows him to deliver consistency. He's a fucking tourist and even worse, a proto-hipster. But he is consistent and therefore safe, which keeps the superchats rolling in.

He got into a bit of a fight with a bad takes twitter account (not that other really bad one that did stupid shit this is the bad movie takes guy apparently) because he claimed the RE3 remake was unnecessary due to Mr X. being expanded upon in RE 2 Remake. He of course left out why he felt that way, probably so someone would complain about him saying something clearly wrong so he could then "own" them with "Mr. X was only in B".

And he arrogantly claims he's here for the "ratio"...which hasn't happened yet because his take was legitimately stupid.

Though knowing him and his fans they tend to get pretty upset when people mock him.

I don't know how he consistently produces these smoothbrained takes. RE3 is especially in need of a RE2-style remake precisely because the RE2 remake was unafraid to dramatically alter the original, and RE3 had all sorts of problems with it (the only way it was equal to or better than RE2 was mechanics). Nemesis has the potential to be something that can actually pose a threat rather than a minor and loud inconvenience, fuck knows RE2 had a big mix between gimmick bosses and a few actually good encounters. Nemesis could be literally all good boss encounters all the time, not some gay teleporting fedora. Also the notion that it wouldn't be a huge meme/enjoyable experience to be able to kill Nemesis temporarily vs. Mr. X's insufferable timewasting only to be finished off in cutscenes (depending on scenario) shows how little he understands the fans reactions to anything. Setting-wise it also has a ton of potential, since it's not as housebound as RE2.

I usually just say “movies aren’t art either” to people who bring up that as a defense just so I can see them rage even more.
My honest stance is that it truly doesn’t matter, and the only people who actually care if they’re considered art or not are heavily insecure and can’t handle that their life is centered around little more than digital toys.
I love video games, I love movies, I don’t need them to be accepted by society as high art

Supposedly he had his e-mail "hacked" and that's how it got out. I think it's more likely he got catfished though.

He was very upset when DSP was caught jacking off on stream and thought what really happened was someone hacked the stream to start earlier than he thought. It's obvious it was because he was in the same situation and projected as he's still insecure about it.

Also why did she even upload it and act like he was a generally abusive guy ("No one will do shit because he's a big youtuber unless he's known for doing that shit often? Can't help but notice there are a few cuts in that audio.

We don't know the context of the argument. We have no proof that she gave him any money(pretty stupid to have someone on a lease with you if they aren't going to pay). We don't even have proof that this isn't the first time she was kicked out which isn't abuse in and of itself.

Also the claim that he is being verbally abusive is laughable. Belligerent--sure. There's nothing in that recording that is abusive to anyone who isn't completely autistic or incredibly biased.

I'd be interested in the entirety of the recording and details about why he was so annoyed.

Asking someone not to work a job isn't necessarily an act of abuse or control. Maybe that job is causing her to behave in a fashion that he isn't comfortable with...you know like coming home at 3am and clandestinely recording an argument that she then uploads to the internet...so he is left with the option of Don't work that job or get out. I do think booting someone at 3am is a dick move but again we have no supporting data so we don't know why he is being such a hard ass about it.

We don't know because this is a very short video that lacks any background info...so...who knows maybe after the video he beat her into submission.

Hey man, I don't know where you've been for the past month or so, but we've already dissected that video in and out.
