Yaniv's weapon charges appearance 12/5

This is probably just a pro forma, yeah? I doubt it's going to be more than an appearance, where people say they're not guilty, and another date is scheduled. This can go on for a good bit. The more interesting part is if Yaniv is going to do anything to fuck this up further.
Ah, so I'll have to hold off on my prediction then. I am going to say no to the scootypuff. I'm guessing he will wear his work uniform: black turtleneck and too tight black jeggings. No wig, but full makeup.

Donald is going and I invited someone who films documentaries who was at the Meghan Murphy shitshow last month.

Donald should not be going. He needs to avoid Yaniv. He also needs some real friends, not people who goad him into doing stuff for their amusement / benefit. And this is coming from a KFer who enjoys watching people do stupid shit. But I draw the line at intentionally goading re.tarded people into doing something that will get them into real trouble. I'm not that big of an asshole.

Did JY actually brandish pepper spray at the reporter at the Tribunal, or was it discovered in the search? It's been a while, and I haven't kept up, although I remember that the tazer was brandished on-stream with Blaire.

This is a first appearance and should only last a few min. It probably won't be too interesting.
JY manages to turn everything into a circus. I wouldn't be shocked if he acted out during what should be a 5 minute affair. He knows people will be there to film him and needs attention like a plant needs sunlight.

Anna Slatz, myself and another person who might be going will try and keep Donald out of trouble.

Donald is known by police in Surrey, so they know what to expect and how to deal with him. I'm sure the Sherrif's know him as well.

No, he threatened to. That was Dan Dicks and Donald at the elevator.
He didn't pull it out so there is nothing to prove he actually had any.

They seized bear spray from his apartment.
That stuff is legal but not for using on humans.
Same deal with the small personal size pepper spray.

Weapons laws in Canada are written with intent in mind.

Only if he was specifically ordered by a judge to appear in person and not just his lawyer.

I seem to recall a promise-to-appear reported as being given to Yaniv as a condition of release after arrest. Those are handed out by the crown (prosecutor). They contain conditions of release. Failure to follow those conditions can result in arrest and detainment until your court date. The ultimate condition of the promise-to-appear is, of course, appearing for your court date.

I know about the distinction of bear-spray being legal, provided it's possession is relevant to wildlife, just couldn't remember if it was physically present in the tribunal, because if it HAD been, that's essentially a state building, but Canada is exceptional, and doesn't treat that kind of stuff the same as most US states would.

A lawyer can still appear on your behalf for those.
He can get away with it a couple of times before a judge will order his ass into court.

If he fucks around and drags it out then that will go against him.

Courts in Vancouver/Surrey go out of their way to keep people out of jail.
If this was Toronto, then he likely would have been sitting in jail over the weekend.

People in Canada get 5 years for killing babies, don't expect much.

The HRT's are not held in Government buildings and are not courts.
The episode in the elevator wasn't inside the area leased by the Provincial government.
Filming is against the rules inside their offices but not against the law.

I didn't witness it, I was downstairs filming a protest outside when it happened.

I'm pretty sure that a quasi-judicial process empowered by the gov't, under the Constitution, is operated under the auspices of the gov't, and transit to and from their offices, within the confines of the building their housed in, would be actions relevant to their function. As an analogy, OSHA recognizes that travel to work, regardless of the means of travel employed, is considered "work", for the purposes of claims made to OSHA for disability, in the event of some kind of lost-time event.

But that's my autistic take on it, and I'm aware that Canada isn't the same as the US, or many states, which is the actual point I was making.

Do we know if Johnny has actually consulted a lawyer? Also if Yaniv had hoped to low key the actual criminal charges perhaps making MSM headlines throughout the English speaking world this week for pulling his antics on a Gynecologist was not the best plan. Yaniv is becoming a delightful source of Clickbait must watch the trainwreck type articles for the Tabloid press.

My money is on he no shows and shows up at his favorite ER. He can’t afford a lawyer, But he has too many resources to be provided one. He is so toxic to the a Trans Mafia that no LGBTQRSZzzzz groups will help him. So expect the Full Yaniv experience.

Nope, their power to prevent filming and things like that that ends at the glass doors of their offices.
Even then, it's just a rule the HRT's have with no filming unless the parties involves agree to it and the person running the tribunal rules it's okay.
There is no law specifically barring it and the only charges you could face is trespassing if you get caught and they ask you to leave and you don't.

Courts are a different matter, filming and recording audio is against the law unless a judge specifically allows it. Even then there is a process for that.

Accredited media are allowed to bring in devices under strict conditions and only stuff that does not disrupt the proceedings.

I want to see the LGBT community stage a Shame parade of disavowal.
Placards with blown-up screenshots.
Chanting
"Not an LGBT activist!
No one asked you to speak for us!"
"No Pedo in the LGBT!"
And of course,
"For Shame!!!!"

Edit: Every optimistic rainbow is a literal LGBTQ+ body marching in mah shame parade

For those wondering about the initial appearance... https://www.provincialcourt.bc.ca/types-of-cases/criminal-and-youth/initial-appearance

Do note - this isn't civil court. This is a criminal charge in adult court. Yaniv is only walking free today due to that "Promise to Appear." Failure to appear means that Yaniv's ass will be collected and tossed into a holding cell to ensure an appearance at a re-scheduled hearing. ( https://www.provincialcourt.bc.ca/about-the-court/faq#cpp03).

The Bench Warrant saga would be top notch if it happened.

If the BC LGBT community lines up to shout 'Shame!' at him Game of Thrones style I will cut my personal homophobia levels by 95% in 2020.

I keep getting the nagging feeling that that's exactly what's going to happen. He hasn't even paid the judgment on his #WaxMyBalls case yet.

also as per usual we don't deserve @yesthatanna, looking greatly forward to the write up!
