This is 19 games in just the last six weeks. That doesn't even include Bloodstained, Blashphemous, Visage, and Stalker during his Halloween stream.
Really makes you wonder about the target audience. Beware my opinion bomb, I'm only interested in streams with constantly changing games if the streamer is highly (and I really mean
HIGHLY) entertaining and I would only watch because I love his/her style so very much, the game takes a backstep;
which almost never happens. So I usually stuck to streamers who do really great with a limited set of games, there the fun is located.
Now we have Phil.
Phil stares at the wall and expects the games to hold and gain an entire audience, while he takes no effort in entertaining anyone ("Why would I ask you questions? This is not how it works"). He's awful, lazy, boring, can't express a normal opinion and goes below and less to reinvent himself. His top skill is to do the cringe-clown and make horrible jokes with his abundance of a sense of humor. The only quality is the smell of a lolcow, which is not part of his pseudo successful 10 year legacy plan. So basically there is not a single legit reason to watch Phil for the sake of Phil.
So while I'm not even interested to watch a good streamer play variety, I'm especially not interested to watch a living breathing loser play poorly variety games. The game can't hold an audience if poorly presented.
If I want informations on a game then I'll look up a review or some shit. There is no need to follow a slowly playing, misrepresenting insulting cuck, watching him for hours; I would endure him if
he's entertaining, but he's not. His "honest live opinion" isn't just worthless because he's constantly lying and unable to understand most games, but also because I absolutely can form my own opinion based on just little information.
So, when I'm not interested to see the games because either I want to prevent spoilerz and form my experience or because I'm simply not interested (Lion King... hurra) then I won't definetily not watch them for the sake of Phil's non-existent ability to entertain. There is nothing to sincerely hold me as the target audience.
I can't even say "Step up", because he tries and FAILS, he's talentless, he can't do it. This job is not made for people like him. That's why he can only survive with his other talent for all these years, a majestic trainwreck who found a way to scam fools.
