Gamefaqs - An old gaming website that still exists somehow

Yeah. And I'd be fucking stunned if that was the only one.

Looks like he changed his gamertag. A bunch of his stuff was under his old "ScottTHEscammeR" tag. Probably still is.
Kay, wanted to make sure I was seeing that right before labeling it Islamic.

Is that an Xbox tattoo on his arm?
Holy hell I didn't notice that at first.

If I didn't know any better I'd almost say this is a really elaborate joke but this guy's been doing it since 2006. Either that's sheer autistic dedication or he's serious. And this being KiwiFarms we all know which it is.

Xsquader was great. He posted on Current Events, a Gamefaqs social board, for a while before being permabanned and IP banned. He has a serious problem with authority and spends his real life mooching off the government while sperging out on the local police and spends his online life sperging out against people like Gamefaqs mods and the company who owns Gamefaqs. He also came here to sperg and bump his thread multiple times, fight with Null, and get banned for linking to websites trying to log IPs.

It's also the only lolcow thread I've ever created and not that great since this was right before you had to go through Proving Grounds. There's a deleted video in the OP over half an hour long where he films himself screaming at the police, getting arrested, and having an autistic meltdown where he starts banging his head against the police car and pavement while they sit on him and call an ambulance to sedate him.

Speaking of Gamefaqs, whatever happened to CJayC? I remember when I was like 13 I was surprised to learn he was a black guy.

Fucking gamefaqs is such amazing trash. If the mods were more lax, I wouldnt be surprised if every post was just a shitpost.

Of late, I only follow the Final Fantasy VII Remake board, because they are the perfect autists for finding and sharing information and they arent retarded reddit. Unfortunately, theres about 20 fucking stupid topics a day from trolls/morons about "Tifa doesnt look like my huge titty anime waifu that I want her to be, REEEEEEE", "I wonder if they devs modelled Tifas feet properly", "Barret is a racist caricature because he has a gun arm", or "Its pronounced Aeris, not Aerith you fucking nufag piece of shit. Kill yourself".

I regret having ever encountered the site, but at least it's better than Neogaf or REEEEsetera

I never was into the forums, mostly looking up walkthroughs. To this day, it's better than most "walkthroughs" found on the Internet, with broken, ad-filled pages on IGN and others, or YouTube walkthroughs with some asshole's voiceover. Only StrategyWiki is comparable in terms of actual workable walkthroughs.

sperging out against people like Gamefaqs mods and the company who owns Gamefaqs.
...CBS?

Phew, this topic is a trip down memory lane. I'm seeing a lot of familiar names like Mrduckbear that I had forgotten to the ages.

I posted regularly on LUE during its lifespan until I was out of high school. Describing it as an early r/atheism is not really accurate, although there was religious arguments occasionally the board was more like GameFAQs' /b/ and the LUE shitposters would occasionally cause trouble in other boards, hence why it got locked to new members.

Favorite memory: the GameSpot merger. Both of the boards merged into one and a game of elitism began with GameFAQS users finding the "Spotheads," (Which became a banned word eventually) to be less intelligent than them and regularly harassed Gamespot accounts.

Yep, he allegedly spent a good deal of time one day calling up some customer service people in CBS related to their internet holdings (CNET and thus Gamefaqs) and spammed their email because he was pissed at the Gamefaqs mods or something and started threatening lawsuits and shit and someone there told Gamefaqs admins and he ate a ban.

There were some weirdos on the Current Events board, like one guy who was an alcoholic and made some topics about how he beat up his mother, was in and out of jail, and shouted at his doctor for telling him he needed to cut back his drinking or else he'd soon be dead, and some other guy, a Filipino guy from Daly City, California, who cried about how all the girls rejected him.

Christ, I always just thought of CE as LUE's tamer, lamer cousin. Looks like I was missing out on some gold deposits.

I'm having trouble remembering some of LUE's crazier moments. I remember there was drama where one guy fucked one of the few girls at a meetup and got her pregnant (And later aborted) which seemed fucking insane at the time but really...tame in retrospect now that we have KF.

I've seriously put some footwork into trying to find him. Nobody knows.

It's GameFAQs, so people have said all sorts of crazy random stuff about him, including CJayC himself once claiming to look like Jeff Goldblum. In reality, he's remained a total enigma forever. I'm even suspicious that "Jeff Veasey" might be an alias.

The one solid piece of information I've ever seen on him has been that radio interview someone recorded ages ago:

Personally, I'm inclined to believe he's a gay white guy. Aside from his voice sounding effeminate, you weren't allowed to say the word "faggot" as early as 2001, at a time when "faggot" wasn't even considered a bad word in the public consciousness. There was another administrator that claimed to be his wife, "Shadotak", but information about her was even more scarce - I don't think we even got a first name. I don't remember a particularly noteworthy writing style, either, so Shadotak could have been anyone.

Though in the radio interview, it does sound like he has a Texas accent, and domain lookups back in the day pointed to the site being registered in Texas. So I guess he really is from there.

After he stepped down at some point, handing the site over to Allen "Sailor Bacon/SBAllen" Tyler (a man whose identity has never been a mystery), he just kind of vanished. Even the most insignificant people involved in the gaming industry have some kind of footprint, but Jeff Veasey never shows up on attendee lists for conventions, in the credits for any games, nothing. He's an enigma. That's why I think Jeff Veasey was an alias - he just vanished.

I thought the guy that beat up his mother was Xsquader

CE is basically reddit with Down syndrome instead of autism.

On another note, I'd say that this bitch is the most infamous former Gamefaqs user. I remember seeing her around there on a fairly regular basis years before her failed mass shooting. She always seemed like an edgy doofus who was obsessed with Varg/Burzum and I think power metal or something but I never took her all that seriously.

I hung out with that dude one time, he was crashing at the apartment of some guy I knew. Bacon had one of those "hold 256 cds" type binders but it was all rhythm action PSX games and shit.
Yeah, that sounds about right. Sailor Bacon was really big into Dance Dance Revolution when that was popular and posted about it a lot.

Yeah I already knew him as That Guy From GameFAQs for his rhythm action content.
iirc he was getting over a broken hip, had tripped and landed basically perfectly wrong on a curb

You couldn't say a lot of words on Gamefaqs, like you couldn't even make a topic with the word "sucks" in it until CJayC left. "Gay" was also censored too (kind of, a warning would pop up if you wrote a post with "gay" in it but you could still post it unlike faggot other words) and so was retard so it isn't surprising faggot would be censored. Was Jeff Veasey being black just a rumor?

I don't think it was. Xsquader's lived in Section 8 housing or otherwise by himself for most of this decade IIRC.

As far as I know, yeah. Nobody ever saw a picture of him, and I never found anything that would prove his race. His voice and accent certainly don't sound anything even slightly black, let alone any other race but caucasian. My mental image of CJayC is, frankly, a slightly flaming, slightly fatter MovieBob.

Saying "gay" had that condition where your post would be automatically marked for moderation, which had a funny rule example where it used the word "chink" as an example, like "a chink in his armor". That's actually how I learned that was a slur. Thanks, GameFAQs! But yeah, to punish those who used "gay" as a derogatory at a time when even South Park was using it and nobody cared was odd.

Doodleheimer's another cow, though I figure he must be long gone. He wasn't on Mrduckbear3 or Xsquader's levels, but for a while he did post some pretty awkward shit, like talking about how he masturbates while thinking about furniture (to deflect being called a pervert) and how he made up his own language and would annoy people with it because only he knew it.
