Trump Derangement Syndrome - Orange man bad. Read the OP! (ᴛʜɪs ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪs ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴋɪᴡɪ ғᴀʀᴍs ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡs ɴᴏᴡ) 🗿🗿🗿🗿

But compassion doesn't mean that we are supposed to give up EVERYTHING that we own, to people who aren't coming here to the US because they want to live here as Americans, but who are coming here to take advantage of our country services. That is where i draw the line. It's like the phrase "Give a man a fish, fed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, fed him for life."

It reminds me of something Margaret Thatcher said, roughly:

"The thing people forget about the story, is that the man had to be rich to be the good Samaritan."

They just want to “prove” that being trans isn’t a debilitating mental state that makes you a liability. They don’t let people with schizophrenia or bipolar disorder in the military either. I don’t see why people think that being a troon is any different.
I think it's just a base, sadistic impulse to try to dominate something (being able to force the system to accept them) because they have no self control in their own lives. Pretty true of most activists, really.

He did the misspelling thing again. I would say it's a typo but it's been a consistent thing.

I really had nothing to say about the 2016 election other than it being a mess.
I didn't like a single one of the big names because they all offered very little with the exception of Bernie, whom if he had his druthers would reform everything he could. And given this country's past, a vast reform of policies would go terribly, not because of the system's shortcomings but because of the sheer incompetence of our government workers.
The biggest thing I want to note, is that this past Thanksgiving was the worst Thanksgiving of my life due to the typical bullshit that accompanies large family gatherings, but it was all turned up to a ten because of the dumbass impeachment.
I have lost immense amounts of respect for everyone I know because of how these last couple years have played out politically.
Bush era, Obama era, never had to be a part of or settle a political argument, now it feels like every other day I have to listen to either side bitch about the other and I hate every part of it.

Sometimes it's easier to laugh at it, other times it's just exhausting.

What I'm most disturbed by since the 2016 election is how uninformed I feel now. I don't trust any news at all. I think I was better informed about the world prior to the internet even being a thing.

Is Christian Nationalism Really a Problem? Is It Influential?
It is because of Christian nationalism that “President Donald Trump” is a phrase that reflects reality and not reality television. Before Trump, Christian nationalism tended toward the corrupt and inept. It was an odd, impotent curiosity. But the 2016 election changed that. Trump won because of Christian nationalism. The movement is still based on lies and myths, but a Christian nationalist was elected president of the United States, and he was elected because of, not in spite of, his Christian nationalism.
His basic argument throughout the book is that Trump's popularity was based on him pandering to Christians. (If he was pandering to anyone, it was white people, ethnic Americans, in general. The book appears to be not only another antichrist hit piece, but slimy anti-Trump cash-grab.

This was his Thanksgiving advice:

This is the same tard responsible for this:
Kanye West volunteering to perform for inmates is a constitutional violation because Christianity. That is what the Freedom From Religion Foundation spends its time doing?

That's the face of a man who drives a white van and isn't allowed near schools.

Because Christianity, if it was Islam instead he would had no problem with that.

Meanwhile we could count on the staff of Infowars to bring more fun to the impeachment circus.

Washington —
An Infowars host interrupted the opening minutes of the House Judiciary Committee's impeachment hearing on Monday, accusing Chairman Jerry Nadler and other Democrats of committing "treason" while declaring President Trump innocent.

The protester, Owen Shroyer, began shouting just seconds after Nadler gaveled in the hearing and posted live video of the interruption to his Twitter feed.
"Jerry Nadler and the Democrat party are committing treason against this country, and you can kick me out, but he's the one committing crimes. You are, Jerry Nadler," Shroyer shouted. "You're the one committing treason. America is done with this."

I feel you. I wish I had the balls to write "major media spin started midway through George W's time in office", but I know it's not true. It just became apparent at time and has only gotten worse with age.
What terrifies me is that this level of coverage and spin will not end with Trump's exit, be it with a removal or after another four years.

I know that it borders tinfoil hat territory to say, but the media has an immense amount of power; and all it takes is for it to be focused on a greater goal than partisan viewership for it to deal an incredible blow to our democracy.
I also feel that if the media is not put in check by a law or set of guidelines that force them to be purely objective, then it's only a matter of time before networks start fabricating stories to further their own agendas.

So Trump is being impeached for "abuse of power" (not a real crime) and "obstruction of congess" (ask Obama and Eric Holder how legit that charge is)

Can the Senate decide the case was so poorly run that the house itself gets charged with something? Because this ending with Trump impeaching congress would be the best and most hilarious outcome.

Lol TDS inflicted individuals are having a tough time. Dumbasses will just latch onto the next bullshit though.

There is a 100% chance that guy is a child molester.

In related news:

A new poll of registered Democrats has Hillary Clinton as their top choice for the 2020 Democratic Party presidential nomination — and she’s not even running.

The online Harris Poll survey released by the Center for American Political Studies at Harvard found that Clinton placed first with 21% of the vote, followed closely by Vice President Joe Biden at 20%, Senator Bernie Sanders at 12%, Senator Elizabeth Warren at 9% and former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg at 7%.

It polled 1,859 voters and was conducted between November 27 and 29 of this year.

Pollsters also surveyed respondents without Clinton in the race — and Biden came out first, with 29% of the vote followed by Sanders at 16% and Warren at 13%.

Clinton has repeatedly said she is not running for president again, though she did tell the UK’s “Graham Norton Show” over the weekend that she’s been “deluged” with pleas to run once more.

“I’d have to make up my mind really quickly,” she said, “because it’s moving very fast.”

Clinton narrowly lost the 2016 Presidential Election to Donald Trump. Despite winning the popular vote with 65.8 million votes to Trump’s 62.9 million, Clinton lost the Electoral College 304 to 227.

Narrowly lost...

Also can I just say that it makes me feel warm and fuzzy that whenever I try to archive something these days it is already archived?

So the official FISA report that was recently released basically confirms that this impeachment attempt is yet another nothing burger.

Color me shocked.

At this point, if not a single person involved in instigating and perpetuating this shitshow of a circus gets any form of punishment, then justice in the U.S. is officially dead.

...no. The Houses can only manage its own affairs. There is nothing either one can do against the other constitutionally. The best that could happen is if the Senate passed a meaningless resolution condemning the House's behavior.

I figured as much, too open to abuse I suppose.

So basically it's up to ethics committees and regular old police to punish any lawbreaking congressional Dems might have done?

The Dems would have been better off not taking back the House, by far.

You know that saying, it's better to be thought a fool than open your mouth and remove all doubt? Now apply that to the Dems. Luckily for them, they won't have that problem again for a while.
