Malka was thin skinned, he frequently spazzed when people referenced his European groping adventure or when someone made a joke about how he looked like an Elf. But he also would disappear for large periods, content to spend his passive income while Deadbeat Father Tim Lewinson and Beefsoda ran it into the ground.

Malka assumed he was hot shit prior to Showergate. He would get butthurt about various things but his biggest trigger was when he felt that NeoGAF and himself by extension wasn’t given it’s due. Of course, since NeoGAF was just a boil on the ass of the gaming industry, he would get angry often because NeoGAF was often ignored or ridiculed. He assumed he was some major player because his mentally fragile userbase was able to successfully censor a game or get a low level grunt fired.

ResetEra is the end point of the road NeoGaf was heading down prior to ShowerGate. You could argue that Malka is less unhinged that RE leadership, but considering his heel turn from ultra progressive to whatever-the-hell-he-is-now, it's obvious his convictions only go as far as what can hold onto a user base and earn him a payday.

He was never an ultra progressive anything. He never even pretended to be, much like Rich Kyanka doesn't pretend to be. What he was was a gigantic fucking cuck. Malka at least put some work into un-cucking himself.

The years leading up to the exodus, you'd catch bans for dissenting views to their liberal norms. Maybe he wasn't ultra progressive, but far too hands off. on policy setting on his forum. I'd still argue his ideologies are of convenience to cater to his current audience more so than personal convictions.

EviLore isn’t as lazy as Lowtax but he’s just about there. He was an absentee owner as he preferred to hang out on the IRC channel where people could kiss his ass more effectively. The mental defectives that are now at ResetEra cost him millions of dollars in passive income and his gaming industry “friends” abandoned him without even knowing all the facts. It’s unlikely he has any real ideology except whoever kissed his ass at any given moment. Now that NeoGAF is a leper colony, I’m sure his “views” are much more right wing.
