my reasoning is that there is a lot more solid evidence against lainey than greg, i.e. the nudes she sent/received to underage sarah and regina. greg, however, has been more methodical and a lot of the evidence against him is circumstantial (according to what we know right now of course, sarah or the other victims could have more damning and hard evidence that they aren’t sharing publicly).
It’s really frustrating that greg might not get the swift dick of justice because he was careful to have his handy age of consent map handy and (to our knowledge) hasn’t sent nudes to his underage fans or received any. he did violate the mann act but again there needs to be proof that he crossed state lines explicitly for sexual reasons so it’s still circumstantial.
i doubt lainey is going to get leniency because she’s “trans”, even twitter anti-o’s are divided on the legitimacy of that and whether or not her pronouns should be respected. she hasn’t even legally transitioned afaik
