There's a company called people ready (not sure of it's still active) they can get him temporary day jobs doing shit so easy even he can do it from watching the bathrooms at a stadium during football season (basically security gaurd duty for tards) to driving cars around at an auto auction. Such a crime. The old state hospitals were considered snake pits but the truth is that overall it was a supportive and caring environment, although definitely an inherently authoritarian one and one staffed by better-than-DMV state workers (but what qualification is that.) I'm not old enough to remember that era but I have worked in state hospitals and that's definitely true today, and they are among the most "old school" and reactionary institutions I think. Which is good, because what they're reacting against may be deinstitutionalization because it will put them out of a job and they are as thrilled about that as any state employee would be, and because most of them see that they do good work with patients which gets utterly fucked by the patients being discharged too early (or in some cases, at all) which is the ultimate agenda of the state, to manage costs and supposed "patient rights." Patient rights is well and good but the patient also deserves a right to treatment, which may involve being institutionalized, subject to what they call the "carceral power of the State," which is used for the betterment of both them and society at large. Sometimes it is kind to be cruel.
Those women are dimes though. I don’t know enough about sexually deviant gay troon predators that everyone seems to think run rampant in the greater Charlottesville area, but I feel like even they have standards. I'm not aware of any examples of Chris being actually suicidal.
I don’t know how sincere he was, but he once mentioned something about being almost depressed enough to end it. But I mean, projecting into a future with no family, home or comfort of his little world, it’s an idea that ought to be put on the table.
Yeah, nah, I'm sure he's said it, but he hasn't put any significant thought into it. Like I don't know if he has ever seriously thought about non-existence. He was just blubbering back then. And I'm kinda skeptical if, even if he develops real problems, that would change.
