its a mans responsibility to his family to provide, phil would lose his man card if she knew KHET MIGHT LEAVE HIM.
phil really wants the nuclear family, kat staying home with the kid(s) jasper, phil coming home from a long shift day of streaming

Phil said the condo is in a "negative" part of town and no realtor will touch it with a 10 foot pole.

Well almost no realtor.

He found one guy (HE DIDN'T EVEN HAVE A WEBSITE!) who would manage the property and rent it out. Unfortunately the guy was an idiot and didn't follow Phil's instructions. Phil said never to call him and only to communicate through his hotmail account. The idiot realtor tried calling Phil and left him a message. Phil figured that since the guy couldn't follow instructions he was an idiot and he didn't want to business with him.

Phil also claimed that rentimg out the place would only get him 8 or 9 hundred a month and since the mortgage was $1200 it wouldn't be worth his time.

That's what I figured, tenants are a pain in the ass, especially from across the country.

It doesn't surprise me that he thinks the mid 2000s move of just let the bank foreclose on the property is a 200iq play. He forgot that the banks will still own his ass and take everything of value from him, including whatever equity they can get from his current home.

I look forward to this tale of gout and begging.

There has been speculation that Khet got fired from her job and that is why she is home more. Remember when Dark first revealed Jasper? Jasper was on nightly streams because khet was at work. As time went on that door was closed more and more. Closed door = Khet's home.

Again this is just speculation, but people make an interesting case that Khet is without a job.

or there consistant neglect of jasper has lead him to act out, its possible kat got fired but its also possible phil is a terrible cat owner and has zero control over jaspers actions so he just decides to close the door instead of fixing the problem

Why do people think that the bank would accept a payment plan for 40k when Phil refuses to pay his current payment plan worth 100k.

When I worked in accounting for a company anyome we had a 1099 for that got dinged on bankruptcy/etc generated a letter to us saying "do not pay this idiot. They owe us money. Send that money here."

If Phil owes enough and the bank can prove he wasn't paying his mortgage out of choice, the court will allow the bank to automatically 'sieze' wages to pay whatever the bank is owed. Because you can't just NOT pay someone without reason.

Hell, the last bank told him to fuck off when he asked for a short sale and sold the mortgage to this bank who's willing to go after him.

Phil will survive this but its gonna hurt the rainy day fund.

Wouldn't matter. No one who makes the kind of money he does can cry "financial hardship". He would have to prove this which he can't, because one look at his tax returns shows all the facts. The average income in WA state is $70,000. He makes well over that. He can cry poor all he wants but it is all moot at the end of the day.

Finally some real fucking DSP drama. Paypigs getting banned due to detractors falsely emailing Philbert was getting stale. Good example that it doesn’t matter how cozy the cocoon you build around yourself is, real life will always find a way to fuck you in the ass especially if you are swimming in a massive amount of debt.

Questions that come to my mind about this whole issue:

1. Why is DSP acting so nonchalantly towards these devastating news? Is he aware of the lawsuit and simply doesn’t care? Has he already addressed it with the bank and has resolved it (for now)? Or is he that lazy that he hasn't checked his mailbox and hasn’t seen the letter yet and thinks this is detractor bullshit? Remember this is the guy who didn’t know his ex-girlfriend posted a fake engagement ring on her twitter so it could very well be ignorance.

2. How can he wiggle his way out of this one? Ziggy Piggy’s resilience in these matters rivals that of a cockroach during a nuclear holocaust so it wouldn’t surprise if he weathers the storm out.

3. Is this related to the $1,800 fundraiser? The timing is too coincidental for it be to just be happenstance.

Anyways, fingers crossed tbis produces some great content for a couple of weeks/ months. Phil has been almost unwatchable lately due to his seclusion from anything non-stream related.

I speculated, and was more or less criticized for doing so, that Phil intentionally cooked his desktop icons with the intention of 'accidentally' flashing it on stream, knowing that spergs would analyze every single icon and speculate. I would not put it past Phil to create a folder said 'massive debt forms i swear i'm not making this up' , stuff some blank word docs in there, then accidentally flash his desktop. People on here thought this was too much of a big brain move for Phil, I think it's right up his alley: low effort and high satisfaction.

He also had some shit called Kat's Paystubs or something. Again, he can put any folder on his desktop and call it anything and he knows he'll have dozens of people crunching theories. It's probably satisfying to him, in a way.

Phil could say Kathy works for his "business", if he can still call it that.

I know people believe she worked at Kohl's, but I doubt she ever did.
