There's a clinical term in vet clinics you will hear mostly if not always pertaining to cats; fractious. A fractious cat is one that is super duper pissed and most likely hitting, biting, and screaming.

Artwork tee drama isn't surprising. I have heard whispers of financial impropriety but have never seen concrete proof. I do remember when the founder was Drawponies and he was a pain in the ass at conventions. Mostly hated for stealing customers from other vendors. Like walking up to customers at someone else's table and pulling them away to his.

So, funny thing, I can actually confirm that there is a horseshoe effect when it comes to people like these and the bible thumpers that I see in my daily life, while they don't believe in the same exact things, they DO similar things.

Mannerisms:
You will have the biblefags frothing at the mouth whilst viciously humping their bibles telling people to convert to Christ or burn.
You will have the furfags frothing at the mouth whilst viciously humping their Socialist Manifestos or their Druidic artifacts telling people that if it's Christ, it ain't right.

Actual knowledge of the Bible:
You will see the biblefags constantly spout verses from the Bible without even truly knowing the context or meaning in order to prove that the Bible is good.
You will see the furfags constantly spout verses from the Bible without even truly knowing the context or meaning in order to prove that the Bible is evil.

Why they are obsessed with the Bible in the first place:
The biblefags will constantly spout verses and shove the Bible in people's faces because in reality their inner conscience is trying to cover up the fact that inside they are an evil person by pointing at Christianity and saying "I associate with this, so I am a good person!"
The furfags will constantly spout verses and shove the Bible in people's faces (OMG Guis tis is su ebil!!!) because in reality their inner conscience is trying to cover up the fact that inside they are a degenerate by pointing at Christianity and saying "I don't associate with this, so I am a good person!"

Has anyone heard of any attendant drama going with this? The Dorsai are cringe as hell with their super soldier warrior culture larping and frankly I can’t believe they made it this far with this or any other con. Seems like there’s sure to be some interesting skeletons in their closets on this.

My understanding is that the DI and a couple AC board members didn't see eye-to-eye. They've been trying to get the DI out for several years and DI finally said it's not with it anymore. Simple as that.

The big thing here regarding this drama is that they started getting results. So far at least one staff member has been sacked from cons after chat leaks in which they were supportive of Milo and suggesting tips to get in while banned, alongside forwarding anti-gay community posts from edgy right wing groups.

He made a public statement about this incident on his wordpress blog, apologizing about this and clarifying his actions. I doubt he will be the last con staff member to get thrown off the board, as more and more furries will inevitably weaponize this tactic.

It took me some digging to find out the who and why of this incident though as they were very vague with saying who this person was and what he had done. Simply "he violated these terms" is vague as shit in a day and age when every ToS has a "we can kick you off at any time" clause.

This is literally saying that anyone who doesn’t agree with them on all levels has no right to be interested in the same thing they are.
It’d be like someone saying that unless you have the exact same views on politics, religion, sexuality etc. as them, you have no right to be as interested in, say, cars as they are and you should leave that community because you are trash.
