Official Physical Health Speculation & Cancer Discussion - hulthy just big

For the life of me I could not understand how AL could have an infected toe for so many weeks without feeling it and not noticing until it spread from her pinkie toe, over her foot, then high enough above her cankle roll so that she could SEE that it was red. Cellulitis is painful. Any infection is painful. If the cellulitis started in her toe, her toe would have been painful. Unless, her diabetes destroyed her nerves.

Diabetic neuropathy causes pain and numbness at first, eventually they lose sensation. She didn't realize she was cooking a festering infection of death that was almost septic because she can't feel. Probably why she's falling so often as well. That could be what her layg pains have been all this time. They stopped because her nerves died. Most of her care is courtesy the ER. They don't test for diabetes and I seriously doubt she ever fasted before any ER blood work.

That insulin resistance must be full blown beetus at this point. If she is losing weight as she claims, it's probably due to her pancreas packing up and moving out and her raging uncontrolled blood sugar her body isn't storing as fat. Since that's what insulin does.
I wonder if her foot starts to gangrene and she cannot be put under anaesthetic due to her weight what they going to do?
Give her a bottle of booze, something to bite and go full walking dead old school style amputation??

Okay, I've been deliberately quiet in the ALR threads lately because I can get MOTI and powerlevel-y when it comes to stupid fat people insisting on dying with both fanfare and utter denial but here it goes:

She's got two years left unless she changes now, and even a massive, immediate weight loss will not save her for much more than a decade, max, because the sorts of infections she is incubating take a massive toll on the gestalt of a person's system and full recovery is unlikely. People who lose the sort of weight AL will need to lose to save her life spend the rest of their lives unwell to some degree, all the worse if their bodily integrity was subject to continual bacterial assault.

There are certain patterns fat deaths follow. I am, sadly, very familiar with the "organ failure caused by septicemia due to chronic and largely untreatable cellulitis" path to the grave. AL is about 15-20 years younger than my fats when they checked out, but she's also 100-150 pounds heavier than they were. She's piled on weight in five years that it took them a couple of decades to gain and as a result she is going to suffer a more rapid decline. That she can walk at all is a testament to the abuse the human body can take before it shuts down but you get this fat and this sick before 30, you're fucked.

Cellulitis is a death sentence for many fatties because it creates utter havoc in their degraded bodies, often leading to organ failure, which can be reversed temporarily, long enough for the fat to leave the hospital, but it always surges back and worse with every new infection. The first organs to suffer are generally the heart and the kidneys.

AL already has severe UTI issues. She likely has antibiotic resistant UTIs and her kidneys are already compromised. She is one Twinkie Storr scratch/purulent fat fold rash/bug bite away from developing the sort of cellulitis that it takes massive amounts of heroically strong antibiotics to fight. Those antibiotics themselves as well as the infection take a miserable toll on organs. If she has had cellulitis before, and if she has a UTI that has not responded to antibiotics in six weeks, her immune system is near the point where it's too trashed to be saved. Her heart is under massive strain, her lungs struggle to keep her oxygenated, her kidneys are probably reduced in function, and she is going to die before 2022 from one of three things: systemic organ failure caused by cellulitis that will begin in the kidneys, heart failure, or pneumonia.

Enjoy her while you got her, fellow farmers. Hope Becky has a secret savings account because shit is gonna get very real very soon and AL will be unable to earn much money and will be spending dollar over ham fist to keep her carcass alive.

Being the sunny optimist I am, I like to look for the silver lining in any situation. Here's hoping that all those horse-strength antibiotics give Amberlynn the worst yeast infection ever. I'm talking about an attack-your-vulva-with-hair-brush type situation, complete with a cottage cheese discharge to add to the miasma of odors surrounding our gorl at any given time.

Well damn. Very well spoken.

I have been noticing it more this past year. Not just in the bullshit she says about her doctor trips and all that, but from the things she CANT lie about. Just LOOK at her, compare current and older videos. Her skin has taken on a drained, discolored tinge, her eyes are sunken in and sickly, her hair is thinning. She gasps for sweet life giving oxygen like she's done a marathon just speaking and when she walks- I mean waddles, you can see how she shuffle drags her legs to move in such a way that is guaranteed to dirty her ankle rolls on the ground and/or cause a fall.

What makes Amber so fascinating is how she puts herself out there to the world pretending everything is fine, under control and normal. And the people in her life seem to just nod along like slack jawed hillbillies accepting what she says despite visual evidence against it.

But to any normal, sane, half educated human being if you were in constant pain like you know she is, if you were trapped in a prison of fat and flesh with no hope for escape, your very body rotting out from under you of infection and years of abuse, if you knew you were waddling over deaths doorstep in the imminent future... I mean you'd do SOMETHING, anything to change and at least attempt to get your life that's been stolen by obesity back.

.... Nope, Amber just decides the answer is more food, more clothes, more trash to be burned when she dies next year or so, she's liveeeeen her best life with all the happiness you can buy with that youtube money!

It is indeed maddening, and on the internet.

It's intriguing to speculate as to what degree of 'normal' functions she could regain... or gain as I don't think she's ever been in normal weight ranges. She's not quite 30 &, (allow me my idiotic fantasies), IF tomorrow she decided to go all in with weight loss, she could drop 250 lbs. in a year. Involving an experienced nutritionist & certified fitness trainer who understands the challenges of the super morbidly obese, she could maximize that loss safely, especially if closely followed by a bariatric specialist to monitor labs & organ functions, as needed. To do it 100% 'right' she'd need to involve physio at some point, to train her joints & muscles to move normally. Another 12-24 months could see her close to her goal weight & skin removal surgery down the line would help with that. Her lymphoedema remains for me the big question mark. I know treatment helps control, not cure & who knows if hers can be removed surgically? In any case, if she took 2-3 years to optimize her results, I wonder what the rest of her life would look like? Shorter for sure, hip & knee replacements almost inevitable & possibly back surgeries for blown disks. Post weight loss long term outcomes are an area I know little about.

lol she couldn't even complete a drink-more-water-for-a-week "challenge".

Yeah, this is it. Not only are people who let themselves get as incredibly fat and disgusting as Amber the least likely to have the mindset and will to actually lose weight, any extended time spent in this state damages all systems to the point that even thinned down they will bear no resemblence to a normal, healthy person of their age and never will. The damage is permanent and cumulative. There's no real coming back from this level of lifelong obesity, no matter what fairy stories you occasionally see online. Fine, doctors can perform WLS and starve them thin. That doesn't restore the damage to blood vessels, heart, kidneys, liver or the wear on all their joints. It's why I dislike the focus of WLS 'success stories' ... they act like health and normalcy is always restored once flifelong megafatty has thinned out and like loose skin is the only challenge afterwards. Loose skin is merely cosmetic compared to the havoc already played on the fat person's systems. WLS isn't a success, the fact it needs to exist at all let alone is becoming this common and relied upon is a symptom of complete failure on a personal and societal level.

She is one Twinkie Storr scratch/purulent fat fold rash/bug bite away from developing the sort of cellulitis that it takes massive amounts of heroically strong antibiotics to fight.

Death via a Twinkie scratch would be perfect poetic justice. Fingers crossed!

She looks like a diabetic moonface and sounds like she has COPD. Then again, all our fatties are ageing horribly and showing all the wear and tear of 200+lb of excess lard. From Chantal to ALR to Anna to Corissa and Jay to Tess Holiday, they're all not just fat, but sprouting pustules, thinning hairlines, wheezing and gasping and suffering from stress incontinence. They're the best anti-fat adverts one could put out there.

AL was known to be flakey as fuck when it comes to coming and going off medications on a whim, right? Fat aside for a moment, I'd bet half the reason she's as sick as she is at this point is because she's too fucking stupid to take her antibiotics consistently and for the full course.

At this rate, it won't be the infection or the beetus or heart failure or (insert any health thing here) that kills Hamber. It'll be Beggy plowing into the rear of a semi at top speed that kills them bolth. I imagine it will kind of look like the aftermath of when that community blew up that beached, dead whale back in the day. They'll have to close down the road while they scrape Hamber and Beggy up with shovels off the road and into red biohazard/medical waste bags.

Stop, stop, I can only get so erect.

Her arms continue to both fascinate and horrify me, especially in her latest.

Tell me, oh medical Farmers, what are the odds of her getting cellulitis in her upper arms, either where they smash up against her body all the time, or even where the fats folds over her elbows? Am I just being too :optimistic:?

Generally, there would need to be some type of open injury (bite, scratch, puncture) that allows the bacteria to get under the skin. It can be caused by huge amounts of rubbing, but that's not very common even on a death fat like Amber.

ETA: Cellulitis from rubbing usually occurs because the top layers of skin have been rubbed off, so that pathogens can make their way in. It takes a lot of friction for that to happen.

It's not as common as cellulitis in the legs but her upper arms are... exceptional. She can't move her arms without the skin rubbing against whatever she's wearing so it wouldn't take more than an unlucky combination of a small skin break & a resident species of bacteria happy to invade & infect. The fact that this is a part of the body with a fair few lymph glands & lymphatic vessels means that in theory at least, a case of cellulitis in her upper arms could more easily lead to septicemia, (bacteria invading her blood stream) & in her case, we're talking an especially high Holy Shit! level medical emergency. She's right to worry about cellulitis being potentially life threatening for her... potential killer events for her based on an initial 'simple' case of cellulitis include, in no particular order of life threatening - pericarditis, endocarditis, meningitis, encephalitis. A more mundane but just as nasty outcome for her could include "the abscess from hell". Abscesses in her multiple layers of fat would easily grow & depending where they are & how bad they are, the treatments are... not fun or nice. Even in ordinary weight, reasonably healthy people, abscesses can develop in areas difficult to treat. I wouldn't want to be the medical professional who had to clean out, repack & bandage an abscess of hers on a daily or any other basis. The antibiotics required bring their own concerns & something not mentioned so far - the use of certain antibiotics can lead to a whomping case of pancreatitis & she is NOT a person for whom that would have a good outcome. If the abscess was bad enough, it might have to be surgically dealt with; never optimal & certainly not in her case. I noticed in today's video - the underarm area is badly discolored - almost looks bruised. I'll be watching that to see if there are any changes.
