Fat Acceptance Movement / Fat Girlcows

One time I made the mistake of hiring a guy that looked like purple shirt dude. After training him for a week or so I felt OK leaving him around the office while I ran some errands. I came back from lunch one day to find the door locked but the open sign still flipped open. WTF? So I open the door and I'm overwhelmed by a sort of weird cologne mixed with like runny shit smell and bruh is in the bathroom just finishing up.

I ask him why he locked the door and he admitted that if anybody came in to rob the place he wouldn't be able to get up in time because it takes him a few minutes to heft himself off the toilet.

Don't hire death fats. They can't do the job.
i have worked with many overweight and morbidly obese people, but no super or death fats. The only person I have known who had a heart attack on the job had a healthy weight. But this is not the most ironic point in my story. The horror of obesity reared its head when the EMS crew came waddling in the front door of our building. The two in front were so fat they were barely able to walk fast enough to look like they had an emergency to attend, and they were breathing heavily as they made their way to the office with our stricken cowoker. The local police are no better. How the hell do they catch anyone? Well, maybe that is why they shoot so many people these days!

Who knew Delilah was still a thing? If I had to close my eyes and picture her target audience, Big Jen is definitely front and center.

Yeah, they're nice and cozy for the cold winter months, but I doubt Gene's going to stick around for summer unless he's a true feeder/fetishist. I bet he's already hitting up other women online to coordinate his 2020 couchsurfing with desperate bitches schedule. He's just gotta scam enough Greyhound-and-bender money out of Jen before moving on.

For what it's worth, this person is half-right: fatness is not a punishment. It's a consequence.

I wonder if this mindset is a consequence of upbringing? There has been a parenting trend where kids never get to feel the consequences of their actions. It was probably a backlash against the type of parenting where kids got thrashed for anything but it’s turned into kids never feeling any negative consequences at all.
There’s nothing wrong with letting your kids feel a consequence (within reason, I mean don’t let them get frostbite if they won’t wear gloves, but if it’s not freezing and they won’t wear a coat, letting them get cold shows them WHY they should be wearing one...)

"Its not about the weight" but unless you are continuously gaining weight I find your very presence is loathsome and triggering.

Oh, I love to see bitter hags gatekeeping IE of all things. At least they're showing their true colors for once. They are not nice, compassionate people.

And I see Meret Boxler liked that comment. Meret has a podcast that focuses on body positivity, eating disorder recovery, anti-dieting rhetoric, yada yada. However, Meret has always been quite thin:

I don't understand how these slim/normal women like Meret and Christy Harrison get to participate in these groups and somehow gain acceptance from such toxic bitches.

The cynic could say it is to keep other women from being competition in the dating pool, after all what is better knowing that most people want fairly healthy sized partners to in a kind way encourage self sabotage.

The fat guy is Wayne, the husband of one of the hosts of the podcast Fat Face Feelings, aka the women who had to call an Uber to save them during an easy, kid-friendly nature walk in Seattle. Wayne's corpulence also caused several rides at Disney to break down, but he and his wife blamed Disney.

Bruh... How did we end up in this part of society that people are getting so fat, they're damaging theme park rides. What's next? An Uber for morbidly obese passengers on reinforced mobility scooters for them to just pull in from the back of RAM ProMasters? It's bad enough that fast food corporations are slowly sponsoring themselves with the Fat Acceptance/HAES Movement to get more customers. Also note how long My 600 Pound Life is still going to this day. That's how many 600+ pound folks we have today and that's not even mentioning the rest of the dormant and housebound morbidly obese fatties who don't want to appear on TV. I sometimes think either our future is fucked or current healthcare workers are going to spend the rest of their lives dealing with younger and fatter patients where by the time things get better, these workers will be retired then.

I had to look up Meret. It appears she's a self-confessed 'recovering' 'exercise addict and 'lifelong dieter' who now preaches the 'radical' podcasty gospel of self-acceptance and all the other buzzwords that function as excuses or validation for massively fat people who refuse to try to lose weight. So I guess they're willing to look past Meret's thinness because she is the proof they need that a normal weight can only be achieved via brutalizing oneself in an unhealthy way/eating disorders. This is exactly what this crowd want to hear. A central facet of their belief system is that you cannot be a medically healthy weight without some kind of participation in what they term 'diet culture'.

Normal weight women who don't claim to have been lifelong victims of mUh DiET cUltUrRE and starve or exercise purge to stay that way are another matter of course. They are routinely despised. But skinny women who shriek from the rooftops that they have suffered and starved to stay that way and position themselves as important allies on the victim train with the same political victim of diet culture rhetoric FAs love, kind of get a pass, especially when they have some sort of academic or personal-historical 'expertise' to offer in the matter. Like FAs all love to quote Linda Bacon, who is skinny and claims to have a history of anorexia and made an entire academic career of pumping out social justice-flavoured skewed statistics and rhetoric that validates fatties.

I bet these skinny "former" anorexics think that they themselves are fat. They preach this stuff to try to keep from relapsing.

Yes, diet culture is crazy with this idea that you can cycle between binge eating crap food and then starvation to maintain a number on the scale. That's not healthy, either. But it's actually less harmful in the long run than just throwing caution to the wind and binge eating 24/7 until you are so fat that you break amusement park rides or getting up from a seated position takes half an hour and the assistance of another person or two.

Imagine waiting 2+ hours to get on a ride and then some morbidly obese person flops on, likely requires extra time to buckle them in, their enormous gluttony breaking the ride, and then having to listen to them bitch about it and blame everyone else until you are finally freed from the restraints only to go wait in another 2+ hour line.

You bring up a good point, fast food places have been supporting fat acceptance. Sarah Anne aka: Tonsablush has done a sponsorship with Mcdonals in the past. Sarah Anne has been talked about on this thread in the past. Sarah is a fat activist in an open relationship with a feeder. She has lost weight for her health in the past, but gained it all back.

Here is her sponsored post with Mcdonals. (It's an older post from the summer.):
What better way to unwind after a long day in the park than McDonalds? Lucky for me, McDonalds is offering free delivery from July 8-31st in the GTA with SkipTheDishes. I sure as heck know I’m going to be taking advantage of this offer as much as I can. Use code SKIPBLUSH for $5 off your order of $15+! Find the link in my bio and download Skip the Dishes if you haven’t already!! Ps, what's YOUR favourite McDonalds meal? This gal is all about chicken nuggets!

Jay just wants all of those sweet oppression points:

Moral of the story: don't include fat people in anything you do because you might accidentally be micro-aggressive. Better to just avoid them. That way you don't hurt their feelings and you don't have to police your speech. If you are talking about diets, be sure to immediately stop talking when they walk into the room. Just get super quiet and then start up a new conversation. If you want to discuss anything that could be construed as fatphobic, get up and walk away from them and take the conversation elsewhere. That should make them feel much more comfortable.

So some person saying they don't want to be so fat as to be unable to do x activity is oppressive to fat people? Weird, I thought it was actually being too fat to do (fill in the blank) that was the real problem. I guess as long as nobody says anything, being too fat to even put your own socks on without a geriatric aid is no problem at all.

Honestly, you know you lead the cushiest of lives when you have to whine about 'microaggressions'.

Also, this talk of 'feeling unsafe' because you might hear some snippet of conversation that may remind you that most people don't find looking like a human beachball aspirational tells me you've had the most sheltered of lives.
