I don't want to get more stormfront than I normally am but Jews have a very matriarch dominant society and weird sexual hang ups.

Why is this important? I think it has some influence on Kasdan and JJs emasculation of Luke and female power fantasies. KK is just a willing goy coconspirator.
I think the Jewish background of Abrams and some of his collaborators was definitely an influence on the ST's visuals, and not just how that first trailer shot of John Boyega's atavistic-looking, hyper-prognathic face whipping into view takes on greater significance when you remember Jew-Jew's disparaging comments about potential cast-members constituting "the whitest fucking room in the history of time." Think of how the Empire was presented, visually, in the original trilogy. Lazy/stupid people will say that they were dressed to resemble Nazis, but that's just the lazy/stupid take on it. In reality, the Imperial military's style owes more to the Imperial Japanese Navy and 19th century Prussian costumes (with a dash of Feudal Japan) than anything that was actually an official uniform in National Socialist Germany. Their aesthetic is not so much "Nazi" as it is simply "authoritarian." They're meant to appear organized and professional, but also somewhat aloof and intimidating; a competent and disciplined enemy against which to pit the slightly more casual-looking, slightly more loosely-organized Rebel Alliance (while not dragging the viewer out of the story by being too "real-world" in terms of their costume inspiration).

Contrast that with Kylo Ren-and-Stimpy and the ridiculously vaguely-designated "First Order." Adam Driver's character wears some kind of armor under his robes in the general style of a crusading knight's maille hauberk. Behind his mask, his helmet follows the outline of the German M35 Stahlhelm from WWII. He carries what might as well be a literal burning cross as his weapon. His followers, where they don't look like riot police from some dystopian cyberpunk future where Apple rules the world, are dressed in Cossack-inspired tunics with Waffen-SS cuff-titles on the sleeves. Taken all together, it's evocative not of a Galaxy Far, Far Away, but rather, some weird Jewish historical pogrom crossover fever dream.

Well I have done my part and witnessed the final insult of JarJar and brought to you the confirmations you all seek. Now I must slumber and go to rest.
You deserve a nice long rest for your valiant self-destructive efforts and for proving that the story is somehow even far worse than what even initial leaks and even the clips suggested. Bravo to you Mr. Atom.

FUCKING THANK YOU for saying it. That's exactly what TFA and Plan 9 feel like. Its JJ's personal fever dream for SW come to life and its just so hollow and self-absorbed that it completely throws any sense of worldbuilding or a proper narrative out the window.

Primal Prime was both, He was G1 Optimus in a new body(despite it being a repaint of Optimal Optimus, it also had some internal retooling with the electronics and missile firing mechanisms). Came at the final wave of beast machines.

He is very rare to find and really wasn't available at retail and was not a Disney Exclusive but they inadvertently got the lion's share of the order. Beast machines was axed early because shit wasn't selling, they had to use Car Robots/RID as a stop gap and the US version of Car Robots got a few leftover Beast machine toys roped into it (two repaints of Megabolt Megatron, Air Attack Optimus Primal, Cerberus named Bruticus, Cryotek, Stormjet, Jhiaxus, a few vehicon repaints)

Epcot sold most of the Transformer toys. They had some over at Magic Kingdom in Tomorrowland too.

He almost had a new toy for generations (art exists of the redco of POTP Optimal Optimus) so he may wind up appearing in Generation Selects just like how Stepper and Red Swoop did.
now that I think about it wasn't there a BotCon or two around WDW?

"... It’s not just that Rise of Skywalker undoes Last Jedi’s “it’s not your franchise anymore” metaphors—aimed at a generation that grew up loving Star Wars and then allowed two Palpatine-ish leaders (George W. Bush and Trump) to come into power

And I tuned out after reading that.

It makes you wonder who the man-babies are when they compare politicians they don't like to fictional bad guys.

I wonder if I can get away with comparing Barack Obama to Krang?

They can't even do it right. Even if you hate Trump and Bush, how are you going to compare them to a fictional man of such power and calculation that he is able to carry out a galaxy-wide false flag operation and defeat multiple warriors attacking him at once?

I thought, according to them, that Bush was so dumb that Cheney was in charge and that Trump is basically an overgrown toddler?

Fucking hell this thread

Since other people have pointed out how the mouse is pushing the comics and books to get the "Complete story" I'm willing to bet 10 bucks that there gonna try to make Zahn do some damage control if he does make a new book with the whole palpatine being alive thing, which is a shame because ngl the nuThrawn books have been one of the few things I've enjoyed out of Disney star wars,

I will literally glass you at the bar for a fucking lie like that.

Bumblebee can only be considered good in the way being impaled on a burning red poker is good compared to having your eyes burned out first.

Bumblebee was the 80's as remembered by someone born on New Years Eve 1989, and that's just the fucking START of the goddamn problems with that piece of shit. From the weapons, to the vehicles, to the fact that I'm supposed to believe that during one of the most paranoid times in history the US military would let any fucking interstellar robots anywhere NEAR ARPANET to the fact her father played bedroom music while working on the car with his daughter to the fact they couldn't get the soundtrack right to EVERY OTHER FUCKING THING.

That movie was a "memberberrie" dumpster fire of shit.

I respectfully disagree, though as somebody who was not alive to experience the 80s, I do not have a point of reference like you do.

Plus, compared to the bay films, especially the last two? Bumblebee is fucking Citizen Kane. I don't make the comparison between AoE/TLK and TLJ/RoS lightly, the movies are about the same in being abysmal quality.

lol

Literally every cinematic Star Wars release since 1983 has been absolute dogshite.

It would be funny, if it weren't so sad.

EDIT: I'm willing to make minor exceptions for RotS and TFA, if only because the former was genuinely original with regards to the "heroes" "losing", and the latter being the most basic space opera that anyone could come up with.

My appreciation for Bumblebee hewing closer to the Transformer's traditional designs is unfortunately outweighed by my distaste for its adopting the "make the lead a girl because the robots will draw the boys" line of woke marketing (plus the inclusion of her dorky mystery-meat wannabe boyfriend).
