These people make me hate my own religion sometimes. None of this is God's "plan", it's the cost of free will and proven science in action

I personally don't believe God has a plan. He only exists as a creator and observer of this world, granting us free will in exchange for the negatives that reality brings with itDiscussing anything in terms of "God's Plan" is exceedingly pointless.

I think that a system that allows fucked up babies to be born and, if they survive, have some quick viability tests run on them to determine whether they'll ever have a real life would be nice. If it came back vegetable (or quality of life for all parties would suffer because of medical costs), the option to allow a quick, natural death would be on the table. Sort of a middle ground between the coathangers and the fundiesRight ... BINGO!
He allows us to figure it out.
Today is National Right to Life’s office Christmas party. Coincidentally, or perhaps not, a colleague sent along the story of little Rylei Arcadia Diane Lovett which was both great timing and a wonderful blessing to me. I’d like to share her story with you.
When Anne did her own research, she discovered that the doctor’s warnings were misleading and even untrue.

I'm personally very anti-abortion and I think it makes sense to be absolutely sure that the kid is screwed, but I do support pulling the plug immediately in situations like this thread discussesThey generally do.
The "viability test" is whether the kid lives or dies once out of the womb.
If the kid can't breathe sure they can put him on life support but then once they figure out if s/he would benefit from treatment they either do it, or deem him medically futile and pull the plug.
The cases discussed on here somehow fall into the "neverland" category, partly because the parents push so hard.
Alright speds, back on topic:
I too like to use tragedy to further my agenda
Not even fecking subtle.
I know more than a doctor cause google
Cause the doctor provided her with facts she didnt like cause they were scary she cooked up her own via google and her lack of a fucking MD.
Not quite anencephaly but may as well be
You call this thriving?

This is dishonest as her kid did not have anencephaly.

She was at least realistic about her kids abilities, unlike Gwennie, but a massive bible thumper.
Cases like these, are very poor arguments for Pro-Life.
From what I can recall, I am 100% certain the last kid didnt have anencephaly. I mean, it's pretty obvious even from the one picture that there was a couple lights on in there.
Really only posted it cause the mom keeps using anencephaly even though that was never the formal diagnosis (rather, it was a bit befuddling of a middle case - defects and malformations and microcephaly but stuff was still there). Still pretty damn low chance of survival considering all that can go wrong with literal brain surgery. I presume she uses anencephaly because it has more potency in the whole prolifer scene. Meanwhile, her kid was Stephen Hawking compared to true anencephaly and is total false advertising.
I did like going through her blog as, ignoring the fundie junk, shed talk about actual medical shit and therapies. Unlike a certain Gwennie we know.

#wakeupolive: Christian megachurch prays for resurrection of two-year-old girl
‘Her time here is not done’: A Californian couple is using social media to ask the world to pray for the resurrection of their daughter, Olive Alaynenationalpost.com
In “different kind of fucked up” news of the day, this baby died on the 14th and her parents and church have started a movement for people to pray for her resurrection. Thousands of people are playing into this. They have also made a GoFundMe for $100,000 and have raised over $50K so far. This story is fucking insane.

The whole point of Jesus rising from the dead was the proof of the old 'only son of god' stuff, wasn't it? It wasn't a power promised to people who followed him or believed in him. What denomination of 'Christian' is this loon family? I'm placing my money squarely on some evangelical outfit, obviously. Is the child actually on life support or are they really even further down the crazy track and they're expecting her to spring alive out of the hospital morgue?
She is at the coroners and they had planned to send her body to the mortuary yesterday, but I think the family has stopped them.
Here is a video from the pastor of their church explaining why this is going to work and she will be resurrected. Absolutely batshit.
Well, wow. They went full r.etard. Imagine how exceptional you really have to be to buy into this shit. I don't want to hear the 'grieving parent; excuse, either. Most people deal with death without going into intellectual freefall and demanding full physical resurrection within the week.
Looks like there are a few people trying to talk sense into the loons, but failing. Exhibit A:
"At what point do y’all stop all this?? I would love to see this little girl back, but a human body starts to decompose between 24-72 hours after death, it’s been 120 hours now and counting. Also imagine the emotional damage this is doing to the older sibling who just lost a sister and is too young to understand resurrection. They need to lay this little one to rest so that the family can properly grieve. The amount of evangelical leaders feeding into this is scary as well. Olive is in heaven and we need to be at peace with that. "

"Andrew and Kalley Heiligenthal’s daughter, Olive Alayne, died early last Saturday morning after she stopped breathing in her sleep in Redding, California. Her body is currently at the Shasta County’s Coroner’s Office."

Narcissism. And greed. Miracles are supposed to be free and it's not going to cost $100k to bury a fucking toddler. What makes theirs so special?
