It's tricky to say what sort of..."issues" Steph has, because everything we know about Steph comes directly from her.

Moreover, it's important to remember that several mental health issues share symptoms and can be applied to a wide variety of diagnoses (for example, people with ADHD and people with autism often have "special interests" they hyper-focus on). Also, a person may start out with one diagnosis and, due to enviromental factors or life experiences, start to display traits of other mental health issues (for example, a person with OCD develops depressive symptoms because their compulsions and intrusive thoughts are so draining); additionally, personality traits and behavior can be misconstrued to "fit" a disorder (such as a shy person who's mistaken for autistic because they have difficulty making eye contact).

I have my personal theories about Steph's psychology, but since I don't want to go too off-topic, I'll merely say that no matter what diagnosis gets thrown around by either us or her...we'll probably never settle on one concrete answer.

Here's my two cents before I go back to my usual mean shitposting:

She's just a shitty person with pathetic coping mechanisms and childish impulse control.

For whatever it is worth, she did at one point function enough to get a master's degree (regardless of sophistication of the degree). She has show that she CAN contribute to society, but her personality fucked that all up for her.

In her current state, I cannot imagine her functioning in a university setting. So something happened along the way, but as it's been pointed out, we only know what she puts out there. So whatever it was, she is probably ashamed or unaware of it.

The rest of her insanity has been a reaction to whatever caused that failure.

FAS is also a very fitting contributing theory.

It’s interesting to me that Staph has written many times that KF, and anyone who disagrees with her, wants her dead. At first I assumed it was based in the assumption that she’s “trans,” KF kills trans people, obviously, therefore anyone from the Farms wants her dead. Or, like, that not buying into her gender stuff means you’re literally denying her right to exist, therefor literally planning her murder, or something.

But now I think it’s a reflection of her own thoughts. I don’t think she thinks that you can disagree with someone without wanting them dead. I think she believes that those she says are racist, transphobic, etc, should literally die, and so anyone who disagrees with her political/moral/lifestyle choices must also want her dead.

The wild thing is that she doesn’t think it’s unreasonable that people would want her dead because she “trans,” she thinks that’s the normal reaction to have to someone different from you.

Steph has tried very hard to be diagnosed with autism. If she ever was, she'd likely be over the moon and lord her Official Autism over anyone unlucky enough to be in her vicinity for five seconds. However, even she admits when questioned on this that the most she can say is she was diagnosed with "autistic symptoms", which she has confirmed on Tumblr as well, and which are very likely self-reported. Furthermore, "autistic symptoms" is not and never will be a full-blown Autism Spectrum Disorder diagnosis. Whatever the flying fuck is wrong with Steph, it isn't autism.

I can see her being autistic, yet not officially diagnosed. Remember she's in her 30's. Back when she was a small child they were just starting to get the whole ritalin ramp-up going, and that was mostly boys at first. Girls symptoms of autism can show differently, and if she wasn't a hyperactive monster most psychs at the time wouldn't have described anyone high functioning as autistic at all. If she was a few years younger I bet she would've been, but since they didn't, she was high functioning enough that she could have learned to function on her own.

I think the main problem is that her parents babied her too much. Once she graduated, and no longer had a focused path to be forced along, they stopped making her do anything and she backslid.

By that extent, does Sapphire want all of us dead?

Bitch, you listen to two punk bands. I bet you ain't even heard of Crass.

Also she's excited for finding out she likes girls dressed like boys because she can trick her brain into being kind of gay and shake off people like us saying she's just a boring straight woman.

She calls this "photogenic"?

Update: that girl on altscene got back to her, but Steph doesn't know how to do tarot. Good thing she's an expert at writing for ghosts! Perhaps we are witnessing the start of a beautiful three-way friendship.

Staph's last attempt at automatic writing resulted in her grooming kids on DA. Place your bets on which ghost she blames her mistakes on this time

Whenever I see her say she loves Against Me! I think it's because Laura Grace is trans. Then I think it would be hilarious if the only song Sappy knew by them was "Thrash Unreal" because that's like...their biggest "introduction to Against Me! Song.

Anyways my point is, is Saph tries really hard to walk the walk and talk the talk of what she thinks a "punk" is, but is too lazy to truly research the music and culture.

Spreading the good word about demons on reddit.

Someone said a few pages back that they could happily spend forever psychoanalyzing Steph and honestly, same. I would love to know if she truly believes half the shit she says. Like, I don't think she's hallucinating these demonic encounters, she's clearly just making them up the way a little kid will interact with imaginary friends, but does she actually believe that her life has only improved since she started offering her toenail clippings to Satan?

In the past few years she has been fired from multiple jobs, attempted suicide, been escorted to the psych ward by cops because she told someone the ghost of Michael Jackson was going to fuck up their office, given up on the idea of working entirely and filed for SSI, been denied SSI and had to appeal, become infamous on tumblr for fucking serial killers' ghosts, been outed as a child predator, and earned a Kiwi Farms thread that pops up when anyone Googles her name, all while continuing to live at home with her parents into her 30s. She hasn't changed any of her exceptional behavior besides leaving tumblr, but she's still posting the same old shit daily on Mastodon and lately reddit. What is she counting as an improvement, do you think?
