Troons are accusing drag queens of "appropriation" now. The feminists tried that one years ago and were told by gay men, in no uncertain terms, to fuck off. The first person to refer to the practice of men dressing up as women as "drag" (because women weren't allowed to perform on stage...a point that both gay men and troons ignore because it's inconvenient) was William Shakespeare in the 1600s. Drag literally means "man dressed as woman." Technically all troons are drag queens. Just more repulsive.

Harrop clearly doesn't know anything about the history of drag given Shakespeare gave it its name. He wrote it as a stage direction at a time when male actors played the female roles because women weren't allowed to perform on stage.
