Might come off as the worlds biggest and retarded faggot, but aren't the negatives and positives nearly identical? Both effect how the brain works, both make you want to do something (Or in weeds case, lack of something) and both can cause a relaxed or paranoid state of mind that can quickly fade. Both can also be highly addictive. The only difference i can really see is that weed has chemicals, that if extracted, can be used to help certain people with certain medical problems.

I think that making videos is not hard for Jim, he just needs to find the subject interesting. If he gets bored of some topic then videos take long or are lacking in quality because he feels like he has to make the video instead of wanting to make it.
 
I would absolutely love to see what would happen if porn was banned, it'd make prohibition of alcohol look like a fucking joke. If we're lucky, we might even get an Al Capone of porn who just by virtue of being what he is, would be an extremely entertaining person to follow.
 
yeah I am gonna have to side with the free society over the virtuous in the same vein that we keep Mary Jane, guns, and even our speech. personal moderation should be the bar not giving more power to the fucking government over what we do with our decisions. kinda reminds me on the government intervention with serving sizes for drinks and stuff with fast food and other crap where all I see is that people will heavily resist such a movement or only blindly follow and turn their brains off rather then learning to take responsibility and enjoy something safely and with moderation. and since we have the inevitable idiot or two I think the benefit to society for gluttons, pot heads, and coomers is that darwinism will quickly set in and only the strong and responsible will reproduce and succeed.

Say what you want about this "debate". All enforcement of morality comes from the group and power - status relationship at the end of the day. If you don't stand up for your side and use your power to spread your influence others will happily do it for you.

The individual knows what's best for them is a really over idealized thing that ignores that there are much bigger powers that use all possible tools to influence said individual.

He needs to moderate his position in this because his audience must be divided on this issue. I doubt he wants to lose actual supporters by being strongly close to any position.
