What the fuck kind of question is this? Is this another fetish?

2008 - In the T.V. show Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, the captured Terminator being used as a puppet body for the infantile A.I. named John Henry has a scene where he is playing with some Bionicle childrens toys and goes into detail about some aspect of its lore for no reason. Before this, I'd never heard much Bionicle, and John Henry's short explanation of a piece of lore was more than I cared to know about the Bionicle universe, let alone that lore existed for it at all.
It has been over 10 years since that episode came out, and I'd forgotten completely about Bionicle until I saw this page. I am horrified and disgusted just imagining that there could be "fully grown" manchildren that unironically exist to sexualize it, become furfags for it, and/or obsess about its lore in great detail as if it weren't more than just a couple pieces of plastic made to entertain 6 year olds.
Surprised there isn't Community Watch based on the adult fandom. There's even bionicle porn community.

As far as I can tell that's a Satellite City inside joke. Apparently Sam's self-insert character Sullivan asks Lucy this question rhetorically when he notices her dismembering bodies and fucking the remains.

From the Satellite City TV tropes (no link to TV tropes though, since I'm not Satan):

What saddens me is when I look through the Amino, I see these cracks and holes of actual artistic talent buried behind these edgy Kivouachian OC's. Some of the ones I saw could have the stupid cross eyed and 3 belly button shit removed from them and they would look alright. Speaking of ocs, there's a Google doc on how to make a Kivouachian oc.

No powers. There is no magic in the world of Satellite City; all kivouachians are limited to what their biology allows them to perform. This doesn’t mean you can’t be creative with what your particular OC can do - just have a look at the real world for inspiration! Your OC could have a venomous bite, spit acid, be able to run particularly fast, camouflage themselves, etc. Just nothing within the realm of pure fantasy.

That's right, only have your OC do things that can happen in the real world, like put their head back on after it's been cut off, turn their arms in to blades, or turn in to a swarm of bugs. You know stuff you see happen in nature.

The whole no magic thing seems to go with his whole being an edgy atheist. I've noticed he brings up manipulation of DNA a lot. Like it's just a hand wavey way of having magic happen with out calling it magic.

Typically, characters are made interesting not by their strengths, but by their flaws.

Secondly, it is also advised that you fit within the basic limits of the Satellite City story. For example, it would not be a good idea to make a character larger than Freyda, who is already established as the biggest Kivouachian that had ever lived. Nor would it be advised to make a character more powerful than Locket, or older than Sombra, etc. Your character should not have to rely on outdoing others to make them interesting!

I also find this funny. The only "flaws" I saw his characters have was stuff like fear of fire. Being a violent asshole is normal for these things so I guess their the good guys of the story.

Yep! He has a rationalization for all that stuff! Quantum mechanics! (archive)
Thus, their bodies were in a constant state of metamorphosis, they could rewrite their biology at a sub-atomic level, all while maintaining their memory and consciousness. Enter quantum mechanics, because due to the ferocity of their world, they have simply evolved to such a degree that they can command and control their bodies at a quantum level. This would also explain why all creatures from the Kivouack look completely different from one another, despite being part of the exact same species. They are indeed, in a very justifiable way, quantum chameleons.
Of course, when a Kivouachian would decide to disperse into a pack of smaller beings or contort into a different shape of equal mass to serve an alternative function, like flying or swimming, one would not be witnessing the destruction of data, or its growth, merely the transformation of data. Indeed, self control at a quantum level.
Quantum mechanics! For when you're too much of a fedoralord to just call it magic like everyone else.

EDIT: Added a local copy of that OC Guidebook, attached.

This is tempting me to make an OC that breaks every bullshit rule in his book and proudly present it on his Discord acting none the wiser.

I probably won't, but imagine actually out-Sueing the Sues.

Edit: I also just remembered, I've even read webcomics that do a better job at incorporating their author's obvious fetishes into a world and story that's actually enjoyable.

It really would make them a lot more believable if he just said they're supernatural monsters.

3. Get to designing!

Beyond the small things outlined before (the bellybuttons and the cross pupils), you have free rein with your design! You may already have an idea for what you want to do, if not, why not take inspiration from real animals? Or mythological creatures? Or artworks that you like? All we ask is that you keep your design unique, and apart from that, we look forward to seeing what you come up with!

Unique like a wyvern or Black Shuck, add some extra uniqueness by saying they're also Jesus and Bloody Marry.

I had no idea the Bionicle Revolution guy and the guy who made all those spastic animations in that NC The Wall review were the same fucking guy. Small world.
I was really wondering how Doug managed to get something relatively high in production quality (in comparison to the usual shitty green screen CA productions anyway) for The Wall. It makes way more sense learning that the person behind the CG sequences is just as batshit insane as Doug, if not more so. He probably worked for pennies, hoping the exposure of working with Doug would make up for the time wasted.

Ah, no you're fine, that's how he's got it set up. (In the middle of a "Site Update!" according to the banner.)

Sam's unlinked all of the hyperlinks from the main page, but he hasn't actually removed the pages, so they still show up in the sitemap (that's what I was using for my archiving since it has everything. I think even that Lucy image I posted above isn't linked on her page anymore).

For convenience I'll put all the links here (you can navigate around the rest of the pages from them):

Why the fuck is he involving real life history in his furry lore?!
This is why I asked as I did earlier in thread as to the autism question. I've seen this before where only way a "creator" can connect or empathize with past events is through their original character. In this case it is looking more as if it is vicarious wish fulfillment, through their characters they are the most historically significant person through all times. In the original post there is even character by name of Yeshua who is in his lore Christ crucified.

You're right about that. Every character he has is some how responsible or connected to some historical event.

All part of the edge! That hat that his red and white cat Lucy wears? Fashioned from Jack the Ripper victims. The Big Bang? That was just what happened when all of his little freakshows destroyed their home with their nonsense. Las Vegas and the very concept of gambling? Created by this scarecrow guy.

Basically every important thing ever in our IRL universe was created/perpetrated by one of his characters. And yet the thesis of his Satellite City webshow is that these all-powerful, omniscient, (dare I say, god-like?) creatures are content to screw around with Sam's misanthropic edgy self-insert main character.

Sam's similarities to OPL are truly uncanny.

I think there's some talent and creativity SOMEWHERE in there. The problem is when he inserts sue nonsense and cringy edgy shit into his stories.

Another issue is that it's all unpleasant. I don't mean he needs his stories to be warm and fuzzy but there's a cynical nature to all of this that makes it hard to get behind. What even IS the story behind Satellite City? A bunch of edgy ocs gabbing at each other?

Also the colors on the ocs are horrid. Furries are awful at decent color coordination.

He really is obsessed with being an athetist. Even all his "retorts" to christians are just things said by other atheists, word-for-word. Almost like he's reciting sacred scripture. The magic spell to cast the evil christians out of his life.
I always found it paradoxical when an atheist turns atheism into a religion. For hardcore christians, it makes sense, all they know is religion so they naturally interpret atheism as a religion. But when you understand the concept of "no religion" and still turn it into an actual religion with it's own scripture and "spirits" (quantum physics and other poorly-understood sciences), that's just pure hypocrisy.

Can you even call what he does skill or talent? I'd call him more of a savant. Like those people who know every single calendar in the history of mankind but can't even tie their own shoes.
