The first pic has wrapped presents. With only two or three styles of paper. Meaning its all shit they gave themselves. I put more variety in the stuff I wrapped for my kids.
2nd pic is ridiculously staged, with everything laid out facing the camera.

Of course it's a staged picture. Half the fun of receiving nerd presents, when you're stunted manchildren nerds like Frank and especially John, is showing off your new nerd shit to the other stunted manchildren nerds. They use their possessions as a substitute for a soul or a personality.

Jesus. Maybe instead of blowing more cash on what are essentially a bunch of children's toys they should hit up a West Elm or at least an Ikea and get some fucking furniture. You know, a coffee table, lounge chair, some end tables, maybe a tasteful area rug... you know, like you would find in a home with say... adults.
Also, look at that cable management. That entertainment center looks like it has a column down the back to use as a conduit to neatly route cables yet they just strung them off the back like savage animals building some kind of grimy nest. When you get down to brass tacks, these are two middle-aged gay dudes we are dealing with here. I don't know about you, but I usually expect a lot more from the gays in terms of interior design. They can't even do that properly.
I will give them some credit: At least in this photo, the house looks somewhat clean. Don't get me wrong though, I think this is more of a function of them recently moving in than it is an indication that they are not going to let it go to shit.

But I completely agree that Wu doesn't actually want to win. Winning would cut into her video game sperging time. Frank might want her to win, but I bet she's happy that tweeting all day and telling people how much she could fix the world if anyone were to be stupid enough to give her an ounce of power counts as, not only a job, but an important-sounding job. Even though she doesn't want to win, she seems to think of herself as the next AOC, rather than someone below the 'Rent is Too Damn High' guy.

If John's previous residences are any indication, that place is going to be a filthy mess within 2 months. Photos of his home in 2014 showed shelves and consoles covered in more dust than a tomb, and photos from his rental in Dedham showed one of the filthiest couches I've ever seen.
These fuckers can't even manage to keep a small dog clean, much less a whole house. I suspect that they only moved from their last rental because it was just easier than cleaning the fucking sty.

Getting an uncomfortable "underdeveloped adults live here" vibe, but I don't think he's in college...I like how the Wu tree has zero ornaments on it, no tree skirt, or no other Christmas decorations in the house.

To be fair, the filthy, ungroomed dogs don't look any worse than their filthy, ungroomed owner. Keeping the dogs in this condition probably prevents visitors to Casa Wu from focusing their looks of pity and disgust entirely on John Walker Flynt's attempt to pass as Tugboat Annie.
