I belong to one of the these professional associations. The major, and unstated, reason for its existence is to create barriers to entry for new practicioners. Its a medieval guild where burgers preserve their privileges.

I imagine the English medical system operates the same way, when ot operates at all.

This is why I'm not optimistic about this malignant little twink being disciplined by his peers in any meaningful way.

If you've had over 7000 complaints, you suck. And the longer they keep ignoring them, the worse it will be for whatever board handles those complaints. If I were a TERF, I'd be passing around that tweet asking why so many complaints have gotten ignored and putting pressure on having them publicly address all those complaints to show that they took each and every one seriously.
