She probably drank febreeze or dish soap and then sent "cry for help" texts to her boyfriend and family (and of course the "I'm sorry" tweet). She wanted to have a victim card to play when she got back online to deflect any and all criticism. "How can you all be so cruel to me, don't you know I tried to kill myself?!" followed by her army of simps defending her and taking the moral high ground that Lory built up for herself.

What I don't think she expected was having her "cry for help" taken so seriously that preventative action was taken.

It was an attempt of a smart move that Smug was wanting to play, so the failed suicide could be be all over twitter rather than her cheating and pictures of herself. Instead it backfired and people are mostly talking about her lies and ERPing, than her “woe is me” suicide attempt.

I’m not optimistic this peace will last, considering how “”elusive”” Smug will try to be with only her simp bf and her family to stop her.

You're talking about someone who constantly buys alts to evade bans along with followers to appear important, calls themselves an anime character irl when in reality she's a 6/10 basic white chick at best with a fucked up voice, and tries to integrate whatever character she likes into her "branding", all while acting like an unfunny spaz to start shit with randoms online for the sake of starting shit. She was never sane.

My guess is, ultimately, she's some cluster B attention whore whose parents were probably more likely to be overly permissive and wishy-washy with boundaries, and she didn't receive much resistance to the things she wanted. Anything less than endless praise is probably painful for her. She's desperate to feel special without having done anything to earn it. Helmet would do well to cut his losses now instead of stick around for some e-girl who will do the same thing to him again as soon as she can.

Attractive, well-adjusted people (especially female) tend to steer clear of internet drama. It follows that women who are extremely online / invested in drama tend to be either really ugly or mentally unsound; in this case it's the latter.
