I'm older than most of the young whipper snappers here so I was fortunate to grow up (Up Hill! Both Ways!) in a time of two parent families, backyard full tackle football and bicycles without full motocross riding gear to ride them to the mailbox (And we were damn glad to do it!) What 'modern parenting' and the associated snowflake bullshit has done to childhood should be enshrined in law as child abuse.

What it has done to adults is even worse since kids only know what they are taught. Todays adult doesn't know how to think independently or act independently. Seeing adults afraid to do things that 70s-80s kids took for granted is nausiating.

I would disagree, cause the "you're special/unique" it was more so a point of "Appreciate what you are, and accept the faults you have" type of thing. It's a case of trying to remove/mitigate the peer pressure and comparing oneself to others. Which is a self-destructive trait, it does nothing but devalue your own accomplishments despite the faults you have to work with. It's a lesson to "focus more on your own accomplishments and do not let the accomplish of others overshadow yours."

Fair enough, I will reveal this detail that it did work with me. So I guess there is that. So about 75% of "good idea on paper, but poor turn out in practice" and 25% or so that had the intended result of effect. I understand if I'm being a bit generous there.

Voiced idol trash (finish Berserk, Kentaro), is 2nd Tatsumaki in the most abyssmal anime of the year, voiced some cat girl in Sailor Moon that I don't remember ever existing (I've watched Sailor Moon 5 times through, for clarification), and was the main character in a short called Whore. I'm trying to figure out if I'm having a fever dream while looking at her resume, this is as much of a literal who as you can get.
