I've got no sympathy here. At what point can we finally take the kid gloves off with these things and just admit that perhaps the individual was just too defective to make it? I get it. A lot of people, most even, are broken in some way but there's a limit to how broken you can be before just being categorized as straight up defective.

right around the time I found out about her, I was pretty big into League of Legends. Moscow 5 was my favorite team and Alex Ich was my favorite player, so the fact that he was making a new team was awesome. and it also had a trans woman on it; I was also going through some heavy gender dysphoria at the time, so I was completely thrilled. now Remilia is dead and Alex Ich is a struggling father who can't make enough money doing his passion to support his family.

I could never really bear to watch her stream, despite wanting to be able to support her, since she always came off as sort of asshole-ish, and seeing the shit she said and posted about online proved it all. but even then, I would never wish anything that happened to her on anyone... to come from a rough family and go through the trans* gauntlet while being homeless and having several mental illnesses.

I know this is optimistic, since this sort of wrongthink won't penetrate the tranny echo chamber, but hopefully this can serve as an example for future questioning transitioners that, instead of seeking radical body modification, to try therapy for gender dysphoria/AGP instead and seek a mental route first before taking such a harsh turn into the physical one, and to understand that rash decisions over something so serious can and might harbor the worst consequences.

I really don't think they were disowned, not unless they did something way worse than just being trans. Remilia's family let him get on puberty blockers so clearly they didn't mind it.
