Things I've noticed about Holdo:

1. The fucking worship by the story group of Leia is real. Everything about Holdo reeks of fangirlism. More on this shortly.

2. Those of you who are keeping score at home with your Mary Sue scorecards, break them out: her pistol is more than just a blatant ripoff of Leia's sporting blaster from ANH. She uses - get this - an improved version of the exact same pistol. DDC standing for Drearian Defense Conglomerate. The thing is, the DDC Defender was a shitty underpowered civilian beam gun which Leia used because it was a weapon she could get away with carrying as a member of the senate. Holdo's version, naturally, has just as much punch as a regular blaster, despite the fact that by all accounts it shouldn't at that size. Add a point.

3. Add another point, because she's a friend of Leia's who's never established at any point in the lore but we're expected to know and be respectful of. Unless otherwise stopped they're going to shove this bitch into the next special edition release of the OT. Mark my words.

4. In fact, that one's two points because Alderaan is in a completely different area of the galaxy and a lot of Leia's history was well-established before Disney fucked it all up. So she couldn't have been friends with Holdo by the very fucking examples they list given her own history.

5. Add yet another point because she's basically a self-insert for one of the story group writers, Claudia Gray. That's not covered in the page but fuck it, I'm still eggnogged.

Not all heroes wear capes.

This is hilarious. Boyega has been awesome while promoting the Rise of Skywalker. lol.

Its a bittersweet thing. The sweet part is Boyega is pissing off everyone, Disney, Kelly Tran, Lucasfilm, Shippers, and even made Oscar Isaac and JJ look like idiots for actually pointing out that troopers with jetpacks always existed, but the bitter part is that he's acting like how I wish Hamill, Zahn and Hidalgo could act... How the once respectable have fallen so that now the closest thing to a hero left on the inside is one of the "heroes" of the sequel trilogy. But its not surprising he would kinda rebel like this considering how much they screwed him over. His character is basically the 3PO of these films but with even less respect, usefulness or memorability yet ironically had more potential than any other horrid Disney character.

He was used by everyone including JJ for racebaiting and as a living meatshield against criticism and Boyega was completely unaware of it at first. I can only hope the anger and hate builds up in him enough that he'll commit treason and write a tell-all book telling us about all the juicy drama and failure that happened within Disney-Lucasfilm and Bad Robot.

Also according to this, Holdo's halo is supposed to represent the many suns of her planet. There are six rings in that halo... Does that mean her planet has six suns?

Hamill really can't lash out because he is rumored to have been offered a deal with Disney. Supposedly it may be voice work related.

That's not something you deep six out of spite. That's a lifetime of employment and then some because after your death your estate still collects royalties.

Also, according to the TROS visual dictionary, the halo is made out of osmium for some reason.

Osmium is really fucking dense. Denser than gold. Roughly the same density as iridium. Only denser metal is corpernicium and that's a superheavy element that disappears in a puff of radiation within minutes.

Osmium is also not a good material for ornaments. It oxidises quite quickly and osmium tetroxide is really quite toxic. It fucks your lungs and eyes and is also volatile and vaporises easily.

It is a damn shame. Worst mistake that Disney made was that they shafted him by making Rey the "Last Jedi" (or whatever the fuck). It's even more insulting that they reveal that Finn was Force Sensitive in the final movie. It's like they knew they messed up, but that they also had no chance in hell to rectify it.

I said this before, and I'll say it again: My favorite moment of the entire Sequel Trilogy, hands down, is the Finn and Poe escape in The Force Awakens. That moment made me like those characters immediately.

Finn had the potential to be the MAIN character. But it's obvious that Disney didn't do that because of how racist the Commies in China are. And also because of Kathleen Kennedy needing her self-insert character to be the lead.

Wouldn't be just her but everyone around her. OsO4 has toxic effects even at concentrations below which you can smell it (and it smells like stale wood smoke). So, yeah, her halo rusts into malodorous toxic crap that gets everywhere over time. A bit like Disney Wars really.
