Technically true, but honestly, at this point, if use the GG label unironically, there is a better than average chance you're a cow. The more intelligent among us figured that out years ago. That's probably why he has a hate boner for Jim.

I first couldn't figure out why a GG supporter would be KickVic. Then, silly me remembered something about clocks and resetting. What better way to deflect suspicion from yourself than to virtue signal as visibly as possible? Visible enough for, say, law enforcement to see.

That is right on the wire then. If it is real, it was probably found by someone looking into John for his Gamergate shenanigans. I highly doubt someone would just have a single screencap from a pedo forum just laying around that happened to be John Kelly's username. There is also the possibility of a rival Gamergater making an account there just to post under his handle. GG spergs are just that vindictive and spiteful. The date on the post is from 2011, so that rules out an imposter.

Might be fun. I've already had people related to TUG slide into my DMs and demand everything I have so TUG can grift off of my work (and the work of the Farms, whom he absolutely hates, right?). Apparently it's also been sent to Flash, and Earjuice wants to talk about it with me (I like Earjuice, though).

The biggest give-away that a GGer is a Lolcow isn't using it unironically, it's that if they still are acting like GG is still actively a thing. It ended pretty much universally in October of 2015. Only two kinds of people act like it's still going: dipshit culture warriors of either political stripe that honestly have more in common with one another than their enemies.

Remembering the GamerGate board dramas on 8chan, I would consider it less as a PSYOP, but more as a bunch of flailing spastics not having their shit together. But even if /ggrevolt/ was a PSYOP, I doubt it would have found any fertile ground had GamerGate itself not been subverted, taken over and ultimately run into the ground by grifters and lolcows, more or less the things Jim tried to warn everyone about in November 2014 (IIRC). Though in the end the split between /gamergatehq/ and /ggrevolt/ occurred way after GamerGate has had any relevance anymore. It was at this point in time either a laughing stock if not completely dead. Everything else you wrote is correct.

Kelly himself turning out to be a degenerate, while unsurprising, is still funny. And this time there aren't any other speds to out-cow him to such a degree that he remains overlooked and forgotten. The thing that fascinates me most about GamerGate in retrospect is that it is now way easier to name the people involved in it who didn't become lolcows.

Well, @Spectre_06 wasn't lying when he said Tug and YF aren't particularly well liked around here.

I gotta make an exception for Jim if he runs with this though. Only because this jackass has been reeeing about Jim since long before WW. This is an old GG fued. Jim is entitled to his pound of flesh, and I will crackle with glee if he and the Sweety Squad takes it.

That's assuming he remembers any of this when he wakes up, on this new year, from his alcohol and Asian sex fueled stupor.
