I mean, just look at that conversation between a kiwi and a Twitch ex-employee regarding that rule about how you can't treat Bits as if they have monetary value. The ex-employee said that a streamer could say that, for example, "a 10500 bits cheer beats a 100 dollars tip" with no problem. How the fuck is said streamer not giving monetary value to bits when he is comparing their values?

Twitch doesn't give a fuck about their own rules. The only way DSP will get fucked over "breaking Twitch's TOS" is if he says something that causes outrage and goes viral on the internet (like his infamous impersonation of "Isaac Heimler, the last remaining nazi"). Otherwise, they won't give a shit.

OR the guy working at Twitch who has his back is fired. I think that is the only other way that Twitch will finally throw him overboard.

I honestly don't think anyone specific at Twitch has told Phil they have his back. If they did, I have no problem being called a fucking idiot; but the only thing that has got Twitch to be consistent is "making fun of other streamers" or having a big enough of a public backlash to warrant having to take action. Phil getting banned for a day or two for making an off the cuff comment on purple-beard guy shows Phil isn't untouchable; yes it was supposed to be longer, but he backdoored his way into making it far shorter than it was supposed to be, but I'm chalking that up to partner-privilege instead of someone looking out for him (because he's not the only one who's been able to do that). There's probably only two ways to make Phil get dropped completely by Twitch. The first would be some form of x-ism that causes the progressives to sperg out; because Twitch loves to bill themselves as progressives. So if Phil was to drop a nigger-bomb when bitching about Tevin or something, that'd probably get him axed with a quickness. The other would be if his paypigs stop contributing so much to where Twitch starts to wonder if his 11+ year legacy is worth the problems that come with it.

A single nigger bomb would probably only get him banned for a couple of weeks to a month if it's just a slip of the tongue. He would practically have to go on a tirade about how he thinks all niggers should be hanging from trees or something in order to get a perma.

Short of committing an actual crime, I doubt Phil could do anything that would get him anything more than a short temporary ban slap on the wrist. He's making Twitch money, so they don't care.

I maintain that Twitch, and all social media will eventually have a fire lit up their ass about e-begging at some point. It could just take one kid wasting all his/her parents' money and an heroing or something. And then all the e-beggars will be fucked at once, and I will cackle gleefully.

First of all: happy new year, everyone. 🥂

Haven't been able to check out the DSP kahntent the past couple of days, so here's some stuff I noticed while skipping through re-streams (while having a huge hangover).

The Roblox disaster stream was pretty... disastrous. Too bad at least $17 out of $47 in tips came from baiters/trolls/detractors, and yes, I am including that 'pwdubz' dude who is throwing a dozen of $1 tips at DSP every single day in an attempt to troll/bait him.

I loved the old school, not-low-effort trolling, though:

And DSP sent out a nice message by bore quitting the Roblox stream: he's not there to entertain you, the viewer/supporter, no, he's there for you to entertain him. Once DSP is bored, everyone else has to suffer as well. Instead of coming up with things to revitalize a stream, he now just flees to the boomer segment in an attempt to do a quick cash grab from his wheelchairs.

And to wrap this post up, here's DSP giving his typical aggressive and very triggered adult reaction to someone asking him about homosexuality during yesterday's Minescam stream.

'Have you been sexually attracted to another guy and wanted to have sex with him?'

• A normal person's answer: 'Nope, never had that! Each to his own, but I'm only into the ladies myself! Thanks for the contribution, dude!'

• DSP's answer: 'Err... none of your business! If I did or didn't, it's none of your business. You shouldn't ask DISGUSTING, personal questions that could be construed as something that is INSULTING or something that's none of your business at all. No one should be asking about that kind of stuff on a gameplay stream, I'm sorry. And you're a FUCKED UP INDIVIDUAL for asking stuff like that.'

He really, really fucking hates homosexuals, doesn't he? It's so odd to see someone - a contractor who gets paid by Twitch - structurally doing these things on a platform that tends to be rooting for inclusivity and all that stuff.
Another thing to note: Whenever Phil says “None of your business!” that usually translates to “Yes.” (For example: “Hey Phil, do you have a pet?” “That’s none of your business!”) So the question I’m asking is who’s the man Phil wanted to fuck? My money’s on Rambo.

He does set a bad example for the company, he's not a minority nor a woman so he loses that kind of protection. I wouldn't say his future at Twitch is 100% secured.

He already said nigger on stream but Twitch did absolutely nothing.

Meanwhile trihex calls his friend faggot during a Mario Party stream and gets a 30 day ban.
Greekgod says there are only 2 genders, eats a 2 week ban for hatespeech
Dave ridicules the SJW/gamejournos obsession with genders, nothing happens.

Not to defend Phil, but he pretty clearly says "Gregory's dead". He did, however, actually and unequivocally say "faggot" and "homo" in the same sentence, as slurs, on stream at the end of 2017. That video is still up on Youtube. Neither Youtube or Twitch has done anything about it, despite numerous accounts of people reporting it.

I love darks never ending pursuit to retcon his past public image, it’s so odd. He said tonight that he was “the ultimate normal guy” or some dumb shit. Nobody fucking thinks of weird labels like that for YouTubers you lunatic. In all my years of watching YouTube I’ve never thought of my own label or term to give to one of them.

I agree that Twitch is uneven about applying rules and if companies can be considered lolcows they'd be among the top cows in that category, though there is something to be said about Trihex and Greekgod being far bigger streamers and more visible than Phil is, so any misstep on their part has a much bigger chance to become viral and mainstream than Phil's shenanigans. We talk a lot about Phil here, but really, he's small fry in the "industry" he operates in.

Most normies who watch streamers probably would just know Phil as the guy who jacked off on stream, if they even know him at all.

I think that's one of Phil's biggest failures, TBH. For all he brags about having a 10-year legacy, outside of fluffers like Jeff and Heaving Dick, everyone else either doesn't know him at all or thinks bad of him. Hope the 100k a year income makes up for it, at least, but seeing how miserable he is most days, well, I have my doubts.
