Artcow Manic Pixie Nightmare Girls / Mallorie Jessica Udischas-Trojan / Jesse William Trojan / Jessica Udischas / SweetBeans99 - Total Bitch Who Supports Shoplifting and Looting; Creator of New Guy, the First Meme of the 2020's

Jess is actually the one artist we focus on that I do genuinely think I like. Not for her art or writing, but I think (if I understood your post correctly) there's this certain sincerity and sadness behind it all that I think you pick up on as well. Unlike Labelle or Bria she doesn't pretend she's always right or that her word is The Word of God, I honestly just think she's a it naive and caught up in her own problems and audience, which can make her a bit short sighted and yes, at times, unempathetic and socially awkward.

I love New Guy, but by no means does that mean I hate Jess. In fact, I think this whole thing would be a GREAT way to start a dialouge in her comic and have her character grow a bit. People like character's with flaws because they're relatable and I mean, I know I've said some shit stuff in the past without thinking and had it come back at me.

Finally, one thing I actually LOVE about Jess is that she, unlike Labelle and Bria, is always actively trying to improve her art. I don't always think she's going about it in the right way, but she changes up her style and tries new things and that takes A LOT of guts.

That said, I'll still rag on her a bit for things like this, and some of her more egregious art errors but legit I'd be stoked if she ever reached out to me in some way and wanted to talk art and finding a way to work WITH this New Guy stuff rather than against it. This is great exposure, and I really think she can spin this positively if she embraces it and takes the ribbing rather than doubling down on her own, admittedly immature, original comic.

Considering this is the debut strip in the new style, all of this advice seems even more advantageous, a new beginning. The potential here is actually really high. Will it be squandered? Probably.

I guess this is so upsetting to Jess and co because it’s entirely of her own making. It cannot be denied that Jess is a prick in this strip, unless you know the context of what they’re talking about and you agree with the moral stance the author is taking. Most people don’t, and so Jess and friends are having to face the reality that they are unpleasant people. It can’t be a comfortable thought for them.

Strangely enough, I don't think them showing that a nice guy can also be a nazi will have they effect they anticipated.
If they were smart they'd go for some Wolf in Sheep's Clothing take; NG wants everyone to be too "nice" to tell the truth and just meekly accept whatever shit people like him throw at them like good stoic slaves.

But who am I kidding? They'll just draw him with a Hitler stache and a tiki torch beating up some poor PoC and ranting about how the world would be so much more pleasant if only white cishets existed, while nobody but hardcore troon cultists will see it as anything other than a bullshit retcon.

I think a big part of Jess's problem, as @Meowthkip has pointed out, is that a huge part of why she is like she is is because of the shitty company she keeps. What's common with her ilk is that they alienate themselves from most other people in their lives due to their own aversion to the "other" or the "outside" of their own little insular clique as well as driving away others due to their frankly antisocial behavior and rhetoric. Due to the fact that these people tend to already be mentally, emotionally and/or socially stunted with some heaping doses of inferiority complexes, the individuals of these groups all are caught in a big negative feedback loop where they stew in their own self-inflicted despair and misanthropy to the outside world all while enabling each other's horrid behaviors and world views. While these type of people are the worst sources of validation they could ask for, they're also their only sources of validation since they've both distanced themselves from and driven away from cooler heads. All this combined makes for the perfect Crabs In A Bucket environment where any and all dissenters are either dogpiled back in line at best or driven out with a vindictive mob going out of their way to put gum in their hair at worst.

All this said, Jess would be a lot happier and better off if she learned to cut the cord away from her shitty friends that keep filling her head with the idea that wallowing in despair with them and looking down on and fearing everyone and everything else besides them is the only way to live her life

"Show me your friends and I'll show you your future", that kind of thing

TL;DR Jess and her ilk are like this because they're all deeply psychologically damaged people that are all in deeply psychologically damaging, codependent environments of their own making

Some more Commie shilling

Are they implying that Communism is just mass state sanctioned burglaries?
Knowing most Twitter commies, it's not them implying as it is them just straight up admitting. I've said it before, I'll say it again, their hatred and envy towards anyone one cent richer than themselves vastly outweighs the attention they have towards anyone one cent poorer than themselves, nevermind whatever love and care they claim to have for them

I know it's a total cop out to just say "oh they're just jealous of Felix because he got rich and famous from let's plays" but with how absolutely fucking visceral and venomous they are in the sort of hatred that's usually reserved for mass murderers and rapists towards him, they just end up pulling off those accusations so eloquently

Honestly Jess would have a better support network and friends if she just posted here instead. Artists need constructive criticism to thrive and grow, they need people to bounce ideas off of that won't ever avoid telling them something is bad or dumb or just not well thought out, and Jess won't get that on Twitter or Tumblr. Sadly Jess is caught in a crowd with a wicked crab mentality.

EDIT: I missed a spot.

This is why the meme took her by surprise. Regular people are interpreting the comic without the automatic assumptions that millionaires are evil, that trans people are good and that you must support one side 100% or the other. And so they unwittingly create more entertainment with their bizarre claim that the people asking for empathy must be doing so out of hate.

This got the wheels turning in my head as to wondering if this is also a troon quality in general. Working in music professionally, there's a music / gear forum I hang out on, and there's a troon on there who's always talking and bragging about what the latest gear is that he bought. When someone else posts, if the gear they just bought is more expensive or better than his, he erupts in these unhinged rants. The posts from the people aren't even targeted or addressed at him - it's just a place for show and tell about what you just bought. It's just this troon can't tolerate a single person who posts something that's more expensive than what he bought.

He goes on these whacked out, unhinged rants about shit no one said, where he rants about how his music must suck now because he's not privileged enough to own the really expensive gear and stuff like that. And everyone in the threads are always like, "What the fuck are you even talking about, dude?" All of his posts alternate between bragging nonstop about the latest thing he bought and, "Oh you bought something better than mine? I guess you think You're better than me now / I get it, you're saying my music sucks". It's hilarious to watch.

I guess it stems from an innate feeling of unfulfillment. I mean, the very essence of being a troon is based on wanting something that someone else is, and you know you'll never have/be.

If I had a nickel for every time that online commies have gotten incredibly assmad about being told that their advocacy for state-sponsored armed robbery could be interpreted as threats, I could buy the rights to Star Wars, and abolish the most recent trilogy.

I'm loving all the NewGuy memes. They expose the inherent, bone-deep misery of all the people that bitch about them.

That last part is pretty much what it's all about with them; self-hatred, inferiority complexes, feelings of inadequacy, the belief that anyone that has it slightly less worse than you is in on why you're going through your plight or why you're not who you think you should be, all of these are the defining qualities of what give these people the world views they have now; it's a big reason why Communism is so enticing to them because it gives them the big school yard bully that is The Rich to be the scapegoat of all their ills regardless as to whether they were of their own making or not

These are also the same qualities that define Incels, just they replace Mr. Richie McMoneybags with Chad (who they also tend to depict as some trust-fund kiddie Guido). The Incel To Troon Pipeline concept doesn't exist for no reason at all, after all; The line separating the Aut-right Elliot Rogers Worshipping Incel from the Antifa Worshipping Twitter Troon is a lot thinner than these people realize

There are a disproportionately large amount of maladjusted trans people out there. This site is proof enough of that.
