I am sure a psychiatrist or neurosurgeon could tell me, but I would dearly love to know what part of the brain it is that is responsible for the prime 'lolcow effect' of NEVER learning your lesson no matter how many times you fail at what everyone else told you would fail, as well as putting said failure attempt out in public so that everyone can see it blow up in your face.
