Why are her parents helping her mail a relatively small item?? I get that they’re retired and probably have nothing better to do but why would Staph allow this? On like one of her first sales??
My point being that she needs to do it herself. This is something that teenagers with etsys wouldn’t want their parents help on.
Her parents are smothering idiots and ( not to power level) but parents like this can and will ruin their children.

Their family dynamic is so odd. They've always babied her to an extent, but lately it feels like they've given up on her entirely. I think they've realized it's easier for them to do everything for her than it is to deal with her tantrums. Like with her mom feeding Peetie -- she could make Steph do it, but she'd have to nag her every day, and there would be fights and screaming, and in the end it's just easier for her to feed Peetie herself than it is to drag Steph away from her Star Wars smutfic. They both looked totally beaten down and exhausted in that picture she posted of them a while ago. She's going to be fucked when they die.

They deserved better at first (ie when they first got her) but they created this monster they’re responsible for and they’re complicit in her getting worse. I feel bad for them and all but they made their bed.

They only really have my pity in the way of Staph not even loving them. That’s harsh because they obviously love her.

Staph. Since you've thrown all those dirty dirty norms out the window, please define 'innocent'. Is an innocent just either a child or someone you agree with? Does disagreeing with someone make them 'guilty'? If a woman takes a baseball bat and beats her adult child who was emotionally abusive to her, can your perfect lawless moral compass pick the innocent one?

Based Lutheran says there is no such thing as innocent. Everyone has caused harm to someone else at some point in their lives. That's why we have LAWS.

This is probably nit picky... but the way she worded the “... but to kill someone who harms the innocent” sentence is... not good. Minimally, she used “i.e.” instead of using “e.g.” and that shouldn’t surprise me given her terrible grasp of English sometimes, but still.

Then toss in the fact that she put ”(i.e., a pedophile)” after “innocent” which is beyond stupid because one could read it as the pedophile being innocent as opposed to where she should’ve put it, i.e., after ”someone”.

I don’t really know what I expected, but this is someone who wrote books (or whatever you’d call that hot mess) and has a Master’s Degree. She should seriously know better.
