Lolcow Melinda Leigh Scott & Marshall Castersen - Sue-happy couple. Flat earth conspiracists. Pretending to be Jewish. Believe Kiwi Farms is protected by the Masonic Order. 0-6 on lawsuits. Marshall is dead.

Congrats, you admit you had extramarital relations. It doesn't matter how you want to rationalize it, and I've read the law in question in the source book you've cut and paste what you like out of, and there is no provision for women having multiple husbands.

If you had intimate relations with men out of wedlock, fine, your life, but there is no rationalizing this as justified, you were out of wedlock at the time you mentioned and you can't hide behind religion to justify it because the religion you want to use as a shield does not provide you one.
Says a Christian (pagan) man ignorant of the Hebraic texts. Nice try, but you're a pagan and therefore, UNQUALIFIED to be a Judge in the House of Israel
I understand that you're exceptional, but religious texts don't factor into American law. Your current husband beats women and children. That is a fact.

That would be you.
A fact? I've not seen any evidence that Marshall beats children and fr two, yokin' up an evil pagan bitch in a headlock isn't "beating"

YOU LIVE IN THE UNITED STATES.

Besides, I can read the books you are quoting too, and I don't have to be a Judge to do that.

The prophet Samuel was a young boy when he told the head priest of the temple of Israel real talk about how God wasn't happy with him. Samuel knew far less about the Law than the head priest, but the head priest accepted the real talk because it was the truth regardless of Samuel's age, status or education.

I think we have someone who knows less about the religion they profess to be a part of than Richard.

Actually, Polygyny is against The Torah. Only the Synagogues of Satan (Rabbinical Judaism) and pagans teach otherwise.

Secondly, there is not one command in The Torah prohibiting a male concubine. Nice try though

Thirdly, SEX BETWEN ISRAELITES is a Covenant. Absolutely NOWHERE does The Torah require wedding rings, Ketubahs, or legal marriage licenses.

You are ignorant of the Hebraic Scriptures that you profess to know so much about
You're correct that marriage doesn't need to be officiated by a Rabbi, but you're wrong about the conditions for marriage and divorce. Marriages must be witnessed by another member of the community to be valid, and only men may issue a divorce according to Levitical Law. If the men in your life did not divorce you, and you went on to have sexual relations with another man, you committed adultery because your marriage was still in effect.

Under Levitical Law, the man must initiate divorce in all circumstances. It also prohibits women from having sexual intercourse outside the bounds of marriage. If you didn't marry your "concubines," you committed adultery with them. Period. No ifs, ands, or buts.

Chabad.org is Rabbinical Judaism (Synagogues of Satan). NOWHERE in The Torah does it say only the man may issue a divorce.

Secondly, NOWHERE in the Torah does a Covenant have to be formed by anything except sex. Sex between Israelites= Covenant. There is no such thing as "extra marital relations" in the Torah. Pre-marital sex isn't a concept in The Torah. Nice try though

The only forbidden sexual relations in Torah is sex with pagans, homo/lesbian, prostitution of a woman who lives in her parents house, incest (anything closer than a cousin), and adultery (more than one Israelite)

You're ignorant of the Hebrew texts you profess to know so much about

Pre-marital sex always came with some form of penalty. Only times it was kosher was within the bounds of marriage. If you like, feel free to read up all the marriage laws where the punishment was being cut off from the people of Israel.

Read here if you would like a refresher:

If you have not been properly divorced (only men can initiate divorce) having sex with a man who is not your husband is forbidden. The only allowable causes for divorce are given for men.

“When a man takes a wife and marries her, if then she finds no favor in his eyes because he has found some indecency in her, and he writes her a certificate of divorce and puts it in her hand and sends her out of his house, and she departs out of his house, and if she goes and becomes another man's wife, and the latter man hates her and writes her a certificate of divorce and puts it in her hand and sends her out of his house, or if the latter man dies, who took her to be his wife, then her former husband, who sent her away, may not take her again to be his wife, after she has been defiled, for that is an abomination before the Lord. And you shall not bring sin upon the land that the Lord your God is giving you for an inheritance."

No women are ever allowed to divorce in the Torah. There is no language which can be construed to allow women to divorce anywhere in the Torah, or even in the Oral Tradition and Babylonian Talmud. The only way for a woman to be freed from the bond of marriage is the husband's death or the community forcing the man to initiate a divorce on his terms.

These two remind me of the youth preachers I have near me that go recruiting at local college campuses. They're both obsessed with their holy book down to the word, unless they dont like it in which case that part doesn't count.

Unfortunately that's how a lot of liberal churches are these days. People in the more traditional faiths refer to them as "Moralistic Therapeutic Deism" because their belief in God is contingent on that belief justifying their life choices. It's how you get the ELCA ordaining tranny pastors, out homosexuals, and women. They don't care that God condemned it, because it feels good.

Which, to my knowledge, is blasphemy in every monotheistic faith I'm aware. You aren't supposed to pretend what you don't like isn't part of the religion you bought into, you accept the whole package or you don't, there is no halfway commitment.
