This just makes me sad as a concept because can you imagine being able to get at least some of the sexual feelings required and being mentally in the mood but never again being able to orgasm or they're weak and unfulfilling. I would take death over that, personally.

thats not even tranny specific, that's just how pharma/chem companies (and all companies really) operate. they're concerned with developing, producing, and selling their product, what happens beyond that is none of their business.
in my opinion the actual responsibility (and thus the problem) lies with the doctors and hospitals, because that's where all this off-label prescription fuckery gets approved and where the frankenstein surgeries happen, and also the insurance companies who greenlight the funding for it all.

This is going to be an interesting point of contention when this all comes to a head in several years. Doctors know, hospitals know, but you're living in a world where the troon agenda is 'reigning king' and especially so with this rise of the informed consent model of troonism when it comes to off-label hormone use and these surgeries. This isn't someone being treated for a real disease at this point where they're trusting their doctor and it goes horribly wrong- a lot of troons educate themselves in hug boxes and medical professionals have been bullied into silence over the complications that can happen.

As more people transition the scope of what will happen from these drugs and surgeries has the potential to manifest even greater numbers of future victims. The problem is when it all goes to hell, where is the blame going to go? because they certainly aren't taking any of it themselves. Then the medical establishment can tout their papers agreeing to them 'taking their chances' and agreeing to everything else as well, they pushed for it cried about it and NEEDED it. That sickness and body rot they're dealing with now, not the medical establishments problem.

At some point they're going to have to admit they're crazy and shouldn't have been indulged and boy will it be hilarious.

I think it's discriminatory that troons get permission to do whatever they want. So what if I'm an anorexic with severe depression that has been hospitalized for starvation before? So what if I've lost all my hair and teeth and look like a skeleton held together by skin? I should be able to take laxatives after every meal, get a gastric bypass, and full body liposuction! I imagine that in several years we may see some doctors coming forward to tell their side of the story. I imagine there may be a TEDtalk or other speaking engagement where the doctor opens thier speech with a re-reading of the Hippocratic oath...right before they tell the audience how they were coerced, strongly encouraged to prescribe HRT, and threatened with loss of their job and or license by the corporate organizations who own these hospitals and clinics. I hope it comes soon, but it can't come soon enough.
